7 pages of LSU fans trying to make something out of nothing

who cares if he threw at him, he's a starting SEC pitcher, if wanted to hit him he would have

and it didn't 'buzz' his head it was over & behind him by a foot, just like the pitcher wanted it

the ump gave him his warning and they moved on,
big deal

You have obviously never played baseball and don't understand the concept of team or 'having your teammates back.' And you really show an ineptitude of understanding baseball. I guess the game is too complex for you.

Have you ever played ball?

A pitch thrown behind a batter's head is the most dangerous pitch of all, because the batter's natural instinct is to back away from an inside pitch. He'd be literally falling into it.

If that's trolling then it's sad what trolling has been reduced to. Trolling used to be intelligent and with facts. Not just stupid blanket statements and everyone LOLing at the person.

Dude, did you see the replay? I can't tell exactly how far behind him it was, but it was even with his batting helmet. Unless it was three feet wide of him -- you can't really tell by the angle, but it looks no more than a foot behind him -- he should be tossed, along with Cohen.

The other thing is, as others have said, I've seen enough of Cohen -- including his years before coming to the SEC -- to say such a move would be consistent with him.

Yes, I've been patrolling so called internets for a couple decades now. Trolling used to be 10000000x better than simply eliciting responses out of people because you made a really dumb comment.

Trolling used to involve facts in intention and then subsequent meltdowns and lots of spin by the target audience.

Not trying to be an arse but I'm not sure what that means or what that has to do with trolling.

Again, I don't think you understand the concept of trolling.

Yep. And, this isn't a situation where Katz showed the pitcher up. Nor is it a situation where there is payback for something else.

Throwing at a guy's head for hitting 3 HRs in a series is basically the definition of bush league.

I was just being funny there.

I quite understand it, and like I said, it used to actually have a worth beyond making a dumb statement eliciting a bunch of responses to said dumb statement. It used to involve a fact of some sort, or even some truth, that causes meltdowns and spin cycles by others.

Maybe trolling on here has gotten this bad, but it used to be MUCH better/funnier.

Common sense for anyone with a brain. To answer SFP's question earlier, I would be extremely pissed if LSU did something like this.

now that's illogical. the rule doesn't make a distinction in body part

It does matter where you throw. It matters a lot. Whenever you go to the head you elevate this thing to a while new level. It's pretty much up to the ump but it wouldn't have been shocking had he tossed the pitcher.

Tell that to a father or mother who's son was hit by a pitch , and has had complications since. it only takes one pitch.
Which is what happened to a friend of mines son.

Even the pitcher said it
'It slipped, I didn't hit him, it was ball one.'

Like I said in my only other post in this thread, it's not that big of a deal, if he wanted to hit him he would have.

The pitcher admitted to intentionally throwing behind Katz' head. That's literally the worst thing you can do as a pitcher.

Teams don't do that because the logical next step would be payback. Someone is going to get hurt bad, and it will be because of an incident like that that kicks it off.

It's pretty easy to gain an advantage when you throw behind a kid's head. There is a reason you never see it.
