Why would MLB even have a compensation pick for an unsigned 21st rounder. Doesn't even make sense. Houston could give a frick about Marshall in the sense that they lose nothing if he doesn't sign - except Marshall.
Having said that clearly if he's not in Baton Rouge right now he's definitely planning on signing.

Exactly. The whole point of college is to prepare yourself to earn a living. If you can earn that living without college, good for you.
