It sucks but our D line was pretty good last without him. It won’t make a difference against FSU. It might actually light a fire under Wingi and Guillory.

Here’s the thing for me. The NCAA has practically zero oversight on NIL, and we all know players are getting paid in ways that aren’t within the rules. If Maason really did something that stupid, it would warrant more than a one game suspension.

Excuse me for saying this but this is just prolonging another injury for 1 more week. I doubt the guy is ready to go after major knee surgery less than 1 year ago

If this was a grades or drug test issue, fine. “Improper benefit” and only 1 game-doesn’t pass the smell test.

He lost his appeal and missed an entire season for faking a piss test for weed. He won his second appeal, through an attorney, when Orgeron was coach. The suspension and both appeals happened after Miles was fired.
Regardless, the suspension of Fulton and Smith are for two entirely different reasons and not comparable
