I've had high hopes all off season too but just like Mulkey said about it being hard winning championships. Sometimes everything has to go right. I'll keep quetly sipping the cool aid till LSU beats SLU and is 4-0

How many other scrimmages did they go to on Saturday to evaluate the other top 20 teams?

These are always the dumbest takes.
1) coach O and Les Miles won nattys and they are both retarded.
2) the same narrative follows so many coaches until they win one. Dabo couldn’t win the big games, Kirby couldn’t win them, Harbaugh couldn’t win them, Day certainly couldn’t win them but eventually every one of those coaches broke through and won.
So if we stick to your logic, Texas will never win one because Sark hasn’t. Ole miss wont because kiffin hasn’t. Oregon won’t because Lanning hasn’t. So basically only UGA, Clemson, and OSU can win nattys cuz they are the only teams with coaches who have proven they can do so.

It's fricking wild that people are actually believing you lol. There's absolutely zerochance in hell that someone on the LSU staff would text a reporter saying "LSU is winning the natty" - that's an absolutely absurd thing for someone on the inside to say to a media member, and it didnt happen lol

Umm it happened… why would I make that up? Or should say that the On3 insider said it happened but again, why would he make it up?
I realize that it doesn’t literally mean that the staffer, who could literally be the water boy mind you, actually believes that lsu is for sure winning the natty . It was most likely just a fun way to say our team looks good.

Some of yall are idiots. The staffer doesn’t actually know that lsu is gonna win the natty, he was saying that our team looks really good. You don’t need to see any other teams to know ours looks good.

Full cognitive dissonance on display. The scrimmage was closed for any possible reason and the stats not released for any possible reason. To say it positive or negative is subjective at best.
We will have an idea of who/what the coaches/players are after 4th quarter vs Clemson. Best roster and coaching staff under Kelly thus far, not arguable. No excuses, he will either win this game and peak, or lose and continue with what’s already been established over the last several seasons. Bookmark it.
