My point is that no one (well.. very few because some on here are gullible af) actually thinks we're gonna win it all because some staffer said so after a saturday scrimmage. It just notes that the staff feels great about the team which is better than the opposite.

Obviously everyone will keep relatively level headed but when a team is different it’s known.
I knew sitting in the stadium vs Georgia southern in 2019 that that team was different.
I honestly think the media lock down was a sign of how much the coaches think of this team.
They want to fly below the radar until Clemson.

I give the staff credit: They have clearly built a team capable of winning it all.
My problem is the staff has proven they can't get the team ready for enough games to win it all.
Week 1 will tell us a lot. As much as people hate to hear this, but if we get "normal" Brian Kelly results, we could have two losses by the end of September and be out of it by mid October.

I mean this isn't new. Once a team starts prepping for the opponent, they limit media availability. Hell, there are teams that lock the media out for the basically all of fall camp
