no it hasn't. See Florida for example one. See Moo State for example two. See basically every other game less Miami and UGA for examples.

You’re talking about the difference of the same guy starting at the same spot on the line

Vs

Another team starting 4 different guys at each tackle spot.

You have no clue how ignorant you sound right now.

So, you agree that playcalling has been an issue?

And playcalling was an issue before the Bama game, particularly against State when we went super conservative every time we got in The red zone. Most just chalked it up to the coaches wanting to take the points knowing State couldn’t move the ball.

So you're telling me that if we had alabamas offensive line, that the scheme we are running with ensminger wouldn't be executed at a much higher level? That's just ridiculous. We are lacking in talent and experience at the line of scrimmage and it screws up a lot of the plays we try. Coaching isn't our biggest problem. We are lacking talent and experience playing at this level of football. We got exposed against florida, but Bama just highlighted it for us as it not being just a bad game we had in the loss at uf. You don't get completely dominated the entire game like that without it being a vast talent desparity at the line of scrimmage.

The question isn’t

“Would it be better”

The question is

How much better would it be?

You think we jump from the hundreds to the teens?

Lineman are developed at lower level schools all across the nation. Recruiting rankings don’t mean shite when it comes to OL.

If you need any evidence of that just look at the guys (lack thereof) that les miles put into the league. Like 2 OTs that he recruited in 12 years have started games in the league lol.

Good OL come from all over.

I guess that depends on what you call fine.

There was no difference in playcalling between before and vs Bama as far as I could tell. It consisted of the same long developing plays. Offense still had the same red-zone issues. Previously we just got away with it and people assumed it wouldn't be a problem.

What did you see done in the preceding weeks that could've worked vs Bama?

You have to unload bad attitudes and never-will-bes.

Miss St was a pretty well executed game plan.

Similar to what we did vs Ark.

it wasn’t fancy vs MSU and wouldn’t have been How I would have called the game, but it was calculated & it did work.

Wasn’t as well executed vs Ark.

I didn't have a problem with it at all for that game. It was set against a damn good defense and it was obvious State wasn't gonna score on us. I thought they just played it smart in the redzone that game.

What am I missing here?

Both WSU and Houston have only played 10 games.. so there’s only been 50 game starts on the OL

I’m not following the foundation of your statistic

So we’re screwed then, because we can’t hit 59-60 starts until 2020

Now LSU’s:

LT: Charles (4*, 18th OG)
LG: Brumfield (4*, 6th OG)
C: Cushenberry (3*, 82 OG)
RG: Lewis (3* JUCO, 2nd OG)
RT: Deculus (4*, 10th OT

Do you really not see the difference in the two?

Yea, it's out of 50. I was calculating something similar earlier with teams top 6 lineman.

49/50 HOU
50/50 WAS
42/50 LSU

19 of LSU's starts have come from guys that were expected to be backups before the season.

you don't follow the NFL much, do you.

The Saints best lineman in their history came from

La tech
Bloomsburg
San diego state
Towson
Ark-Pinebluff

So what about Florida?

ETA: it's also a big negative against E that he can't coach on the fly very well. He has trouble playing the chess match of OC vs DC in real time. So while his plan may look good going in he has trouble adjusting it if the D snuffs it out.
