Has been much improved since the crap show at Ole Piss. They will be ready have faith. You know the offense will help big time.

We gave up 39 at mizzou, lets not act like we fixed a bunch of issues. The main issue we fixed was we didnt have to face a spread attack the last two games with any competent personnel to run it

Don't get your hopes up, we have lost our best dt and we lost the dbs that had any experience even if they were getting torched. This will be a shoot out and hopefully we can get a couple stops

We gave up 7 points in Missouri’s last 5 drives
The next two were fist auburn and army
Tonight we find out
But I agree….since the second half of Missouri game the eye test looks much better…something looks different

To be fair the Missouri game wasn't great. But if LSU can hold Alabama to 4/11 on 3rd and 1/2 on 4th down conversion like they did against Missouri, LSU will win this game.

More a result of the competition we played than massive improvement. We just need Bama to self-limit tonight (drop a few crucial balls/penalty/etc) on a couple of drives and then we have to play lights-out offense. This is really our only path to victory if we are being honest with ourselves.

I’m not convinced. Army’s RB1 had over 100 yards and 5 ypc.

Army
Auburn
Miz (gave up 39 and 530 yards)

Take the purple and gold glasses off. This game should be a shootout

LSU 49
BAMA 38

Yeah and now we have a plethora of freshman starting on the road. I think we have to accept this game for what it probably is. A back and forth shootout, which we luckily have the offense to handle.

Even with the lesser teams, if nothing else, we got reps and learned to trust our assignments. (Unfortunately, we lost 30% of the defense since then.) I think we’ll show continued improvement.
