I don't think the defense is as bad as the negatigers are making it out to be but, the only team i'm confident we'll beat is furman. after that, every game is a toss up. each team ahead presents some particular problem for lsu.
state - tigers might be down like after the bama game last year. state has a balanced offense and a solid defense.
fla - awesome defense and offense does enough to complement
ole miss - solid on both sides of the ball. bama's just really great on d.

a&m - pretty obvious. Georgia redux
ark - can run the ball, control the clock. put up a fight against a&m.

Help me understand who goes if we beat Alabama and lose to the Aggies and all teams win out. 3 way tie in the West. I tried to read the tie-breaker rules but can't decipher. Would it be Alabama because we would have a loss in the east and Aggies would have lost to Alabama? Do we need to beat both to make it to Atlanta?

We our getting our rematch people! Mett will lead us back to ATL EARLY december. After that it's off to Cali baby!

Yes, otherwise we'd have two conference losses and TAMU/Bama would have 0 or 1.
If we have a 3-way SEC record tie at 7-1, by beating each other, LSU would go because our divisional record would be 6-0.

yep, the scheduling gods (aka Mark Womack) have given us the path to ATL, and it is to be perfect from here on out. LSU could beat A&M and Bama, but if we lose to Ole Miss we are toast.

If our defense is not as bad as the nega-tigers are making it out to be, than the only game you should worry about is Bama because they are Bama.
Our defense is as bad as it is made out to be that is why all the other games could present some kind of problem.
