Faulk for sure.

Can’t go wrong with Fournette but you could plug in other guys there too and it’d be fine. CEH, Guice, Addai, and of course the legendary Cecil the diesel and his 6 games of glory

Any list without the name of Jack Hunt is garbage.

Great list...

Honestly I’d personally line up Stingley right now on opposite side of Peterson and not look back.

Too early? Not for me, I’m ridin with it.

I just can’t put Derek on the list quite yet. But it’s almost a foregone conclusion but I don’t want to jinx the kid.
Jarvis Landry will be my pick as one of the WR’s. He is in my top 5 LSU players of all time. His hands and body control were incredible. OBJ had the same skills and was faster but something about Jarvis makes me think he was better than the majority of people’s opinion.
Ben Wilkerson also has a really good argument over Mawae. Ben just didn’t have the NFL career because of the injury but he was a great center in college. He probably wouldn’t have been a Pro Bowler in the NFL even without the injury but the guy was one of the best ever at LSU.

All of your LBs are MLBs for a 3-4 scheme. Think you should consider Erik Hill and Michael Brooks. Probably in place of Kevin Minter.

I rarely ever see his name mentioned, but for my money, the best cornerback I recall watching play at LSU is Tory James. He had a decade long run in the NFL if I remember correctly. There were others who were faster or more freakish athletes. I just believe that his technique and skill was at another level from all the other guys I’ve seen play.

This is much harder than I anticipated. So many great players that have to be left off. I didn’t include players that were before my time. Only players I was old enough to watch.

Linebackers is also really tough. Just 3 linebackers isn’t enough. I should have had 4 inside linebackers and 2 outside. Or 1 position for DE/OLB like a Barkevious Mingo type.

Any list without Booger McFarland can’t be taken serious! Also Eric Martin and dalton Hilliard fall in or so category but come on man

Trindon

Its a hard pick at return specialist between S. Green, T. Holliday, K. Faulk, Tyrann
but I would have Kev and tyrant at other positions. Love when Patrick Peterson was returning them too.
KR - Trindon
PR- Skyler

RB= Joseph Addai should get some recognition. loved him. we've just been stacked at rb since 1996.. Great problem to have

I can’t put Booger in over Chad Lavalais or Kyle Williams.
Chad Lavalais:
quote:

Lavalais started in 41 of 47 games in which he appeared for LSU and registered 202 tackles, 12 sacks, 10 passes defensed, one fumble recovery, one interception and one blocked kick. He was a first-team All-Southeastern Conference (SEC) selection and a consensus first-team All-American after starting every game as a senior. He was also named National Defensive Player of the Year by The Sporting News. During his senior season, the Tigers won the SEC Championship and defeated the Oklahoma Sooners 21–14 in the Sugar Bowl to win the BCS National Championship.

Booger was a good player but Chad was better during their time at LSU, IMO.

And I’m sorry but Eric Martin doesn’t have a shot of being selected on the first team. Eric Martin is an LSU great but there are at least 6 others that I would put above him. He was consistent over 4 years but he never had a season that would be considered great compared to others listed.
Look at Eric Martin’s stats at LSU. He had 152 receptions 2600 yards and 14 TD’s in 4 years.
Justin Jefferson in 2 years. 165 rec 2415 yards and 24 TD’s
Josh Reed
Ja’Marr Chase
Justin Jefferson
Odell Beckham Jr
Jarvis Landry
Dwayne Bowe
Wendell Davis
Brandon Lafell
Micheal Clayton
Early Doucet

Even Jerel Meyers had a season that was better

I think on some of these positions you are putting too much stock into how these players are performing in the NFL and not enough stock in how they performed in college for LSU. Danielle Hunter and Tredavious White’t belong on this list.
