All things considered, we will be underdogs four times this season: Miami, @Auburn, UGA, and bama. IF we were to beat both Miami and Auburn, we'd probably be a 2-3 point favorite versus UGA in TS.

So you’re saying we have the talent to win 10 games but we’re only expected to win 7 because of who the head coach is?

I agree .

---------

No, just you LSU haters.

I expect Orgeron's Tigers to be in playoff discussion the entire season. These Tigers will be give notice to college football that LSU is back, and there is not a damned thing you jilted O haters can ever do about it. We ain't coming. WE ARE HERE!!!

HOLD THAT TIGER!!!!

Good. I, like you, expect LSU to be in the playoff discussion late in the season, and if they aren't then something needs to change.

Can you list their Future NFL players vs ours? We have some who will be in the NFL that aren't draft eligible.

Edit: you realize LSU had more players drafted than MSU last year correct? We still lost.

So, your point is that LSU is loaded with talent and the "experts" have based the poor outlook on the head coach of the team?

D is surely loaded. Offense has raw talent, I think we for sure have a few NFL caliber WR's. We have talent at QB, though we as LSU fans need to see it translate before we add any value to it. Oline has a few studs, but again, need to see a product on the field. A few young RB's that I think can develop into late round picks, but TBD.

Still, LSU "has" talent and has more talent than most of the teams on our seclude. AU is debatable IMO.

O is clearly to blame for the outlook.

People reference the MSU game. He let that game get away from us. 9 penalties, two TD's called back, poor game plan, ejections, just a shitty performance at all levels. thats on him.

Same thing with Troy. The boys weren't ready to compete.

My overall point, is that it's a myth we are in some super talent hole and don't have the guys to win these games.

It's a laughable argument imo.

The words, "MSU has more talent that LSU" are not words that should ever be spoken IMO.

Just my 2 cents.

Overall talent level at LSU hasn’t been the question. Poor QB play, subpar coaching philosophy, and players leaving early have all contributed to fewer wins.

GTFO with your common sense. Don't you know where you are posting?

Nah. the outlook is CLEARLY based on the turnover on offense, which was very average to begin with.

LSU was outmanned up front in that game. It was early in the year and the OL was still a significant liability. The DL had multiple injuries and Key was still very out of shape.

MSU rushed for like 6 yards per carry. They were definitely the better team that night.

The case against Orgeron is based on the move to go to Ensminger. That decision is grounds for dismissal should it turn out to be as bad as it looks on paper.

As for talent, if your analysis goes a little bit deeper than class rankings, you'd come to the conclusion that LSU is under talented on the OL, RB, and at 1 CB spot.

The QB spot is yet to be seen. But, if Burrow is not the answer, you can add that position to the under talented list as well.

I personally have been ready to move on from Orgeron since he hired Ensminger. But, a good coach with this team is going to have struggles, IMO. The defense should be very good. Offensively, it's going to be rough.

No. No they don’t. The only reason the MIGHT have more is because they are a very senior heavy team. They had several players return from last year that probably could have gotten drafted in the 3rd round or lower. We didn’t really have anyone to stay.

They are not “more talented”. That is just outright false. They are more experienced but not more talented.

SO when I asked you to list the NFL talent comparison you still working on that?

So the same MSU team that got worse last year and finished below LSU?

You think LSU got better or worse on D going from 2017 to 2018?

We clearly have more depth on both sides.

One reason msu could have more players drafted is because the depth chart I just looked at had 12 sr starters listed to LSU's three.

LSU is the only school in the country that experiences attrition to early departures and transfers... it doesn’t happen to literally every other school in the country.

No excuse not to win 10 games. I won’t buy the bullshite. Win or GTFO

Sometimes I wonder if our own fans have even looked at our roster. The D is literally littered with NFL roster type players.

This is going to be one of our better D's since 2011. This will be huge for our early games as the O comes up to speed.
