If he can get the drops under control he could easily be a 1000 yd receiver next year. He is a great blocker and very physical after the catch.

It never went away, and it didn't start in 2019. This has been around since the Jugs machine was invented. Whether it's 1000, 5000, 10000 or 20000 depends on the receiver.

Odell Beckham was doing this when Joe Brady was in High School.

Both Hilton and him have a big opportunity for next year but both need to work the Jugs machine all off season.

It's always wise to do this, but that's not the cure for most drops, which are caused by unfamiliarity with the offense. In today's game WRs are having to make decisions during the play. When these are second nature full focus can be on catching the ball. In my opinion drops are caused by three things:

1. Lack of experience/familiarity with the offense
2. Loss of concentration due to wanting to run after the catch.
3. Lack of hand-eye coordination due to lack of talent or lack of practice.

When you see a receiver, such as Lacy, making great catches some times but being plagued by drops on very catchable balls, you can rule out #3. And #3 is really the only one that is affected by using the Jugs.

#1 gets fixed by practicing and watching film. A consistent personnel group helps a lot. And #2 can ONLY be fixed by playing in games enough that the excitement level gets under control. See Brandon LaFell as a great example of a guy who made lots of maddening drops, then went on to a solid Pro career.

Good news. Now get to work Kyren. Hope you ball out next year! Hope the leash is short if you have drop problems again next year. Summer of 10,000 is your time to get right mentally. WR room is loaded.

He seems much bigger and stronger than JJ at least when he was at LSU. JJ more twitchy. Kyren is hard to tackle. More like Malik. IMHO.

Summer of 10,000 catches or GTFO.
Dude has great potential - can’t have the drops anymore.

Big time. I need him to cross that 1000 yard 10 TD threshold. He's a beast when the ball is actually in his hands.

Bro meth is a bad drug lay off that stuff.

If he ran under 4.5 and showed out in the senior bowl no doubt, he is a day two guy this year. He averaged 19.3 yards a catch and still caught 500 yards as a third option on a team with two first rounders. He has the tools to be a first rounder if his production goes up being the #1 option.

As both a Cajuns and Tigers fan (yes, we exist), Kyren always looked like a man amongst boys in UL games. If he can fix the drops, dude will be a stud.
