LSU women got the best draw possible

When I initially saw they got a 3 seed, I thought they got screwed. But after looking at the bracket, they got the best draw possible...
1) Got a Greenville region instead of Seattle
2) Utah is a weak 2 seed, especially in Greenville
3) Indiana is a weak 1 seed
4) Avoid South Carolina until the national championship game
5) Not in a region with UConn or Stanford (or even Iowa with Caitlyn Clark)
I think the Final Four is LSU's to reach. Honestly, they could be the 1 seed or 2 seed with Indiana and Utah in the same region and their chances would be basically the same.

Agreed. There's really nothing to be upset about with the way the bracket turned out.

I wouldn’t say Indiana at 27-3 and winners of the Big 10. & the conference tournament is weak. And making to face them in the elite 8 would be a great accomplishment in year 2.

Two things I would love to see in regards to wbb.
A natty or final four.
I also would not be happy until we get the Stanford LSU match up. I want Kim to beat down that “see you next Tuesday”

Indiana has a team full of 3 point shooters. You have to hope they have an off night. Our guards have not been the best at covering shooters. We are more athletic but we can’t exchange 2s for 3s.

Indiana lost in the Big10 semifinals to Ohio State. They have a very impressive resume overall though.
They have wins over 4 seed Tenn, 2 seed Maryland, 3 seed Ohio State, & 2 seed Iowa.
Both Indiana and Utah play great offense, but neither are dominant on defense. LSU is 30th in points allowed per game while Indiana is 106 and Utah is 213.

That Iowa team is someone to respect especially that Clark girl. She is a sparkplug.

I saw Indiana play 3 games this season. Other than Carolina, Indiana is the best team I saw play. But I basically agree with your other assertions.

I agree with everything you've said here EXCEPT, Indiana being a weak #1 seed. I've seen them play three times and I think they're the second best team in the field. I don't think we'll beat them in the elite eight if we meet them there. However, since we're in the Greenville region we'll have the crowd with us. There's a large contingent of LSU fans that would be there AND I believe the South Carolina fans would also cheer for us. I definitely like our chances to reach the elite eight though, because I saw Utah play and they're DEFINITELY beatable by this LSU team.

Good bracket, good motivation. The everyone doubts us motivation is hot right now.

I hope you're right. Reports say that Friday's games are already almost sold out!

Agreed and should be a fun one. SC will be tough for anyone.
How cool would it be if someone knocked them off prior to the final 4…

To those of you who claimed Indiana was a quality 1 seed, I just watched them play for the first time this year and they are definitely a weak 1 seed. That team would never win a national championship in any year. They are very unathletic. Sure, they can shoot if left open... They are a typical Big Ten team. I'm not sure Miami isn't just better than them altogether. Miami is definitely more athletic than them. As I originally stated, this is LSU's Final Four to take.

I think what many people have said is that the field is South Carolina and everybody else. In other words, all the other 1 seeds are weak. Relatively speaking, Indiana could be both a weak 1 seed and the second strongest 1 seed this year. Stanford was also bounced from the tournament and Virginia Tech didn’t exactly dominate their matchup either. They lost to Miami this year as well and had a 3-point win over Tennessee as their only non-conference victory.

I thought basically same thing when I saw their seed and bracket
