Arkansas is going to be the 2nd toughest game remaining on our schedule other than Texas A&M

Arkansas is pretty good, and playing there on the road is gonna be hard. A&M game is gonna be really tough. But don’t let these last 2 Bama games fool you. That game is not gonna be easy at all, and is going to be way tougher than the Arkansas game. They’ve still got dudes.

We may lose to Arkansas and beat Bama, but I still wouldn’t poo-poo that Bama game right now as the 3rd toughest left on the schedule. And they’ll be fighting for their playoff lives like us. It’s gonna be a dog fight.

And I don’t think we can just chalk up wins at the Swamp or at home against OU either yet. We have yet to beat a decent team handily. But we are getting better and could be playing our best ball by then. Especially if we get some guys back and healthy and avoid major injuries the rest of the way.

Should be a fun ride to end the season. But we really need to find an away to escape Fayetteville with a win, ugly as it may be. A loss doesn’t mathematically eliminate us, but it practically does. Hard to see us losing that game and then running the table.

It’s pretty wild the disrespect Nuss is getting right now not being in the Heisman convo

He’s 9th in current odds on Fan Duel. Beck and Ewers play Saturday, if one doesn’t play well, he could jump them. And Milroe is ahead of him, and they’ll duel in Tiger Stadium in 3 weeks. Travis Hunter is the best player in CFB, but that loss Saturday hurt. Will they give it to a non-QB on an 8-4/7-5 team? Dude from Boise is awesome, but can he keep up that pace and win it without any marquee games?

I don’t think Nuss will win, but our tough remaining schedule certainly gives him the opportunity to have great games and moments on big stages. The Heisman is won in November and the 1st week of December. September and October can just position you to do it. And he’s positioned himself close enough to make big moves if he goes off the rest of the year.

If LSU were to win out, Nuss would certainly be invited to NYC, but he won't win the Heisman.

I do not see any way that that happens. Too many much better teams in CFB. LSU has no running game and Nuss still makes some wildcard throws putting the ball in danger. The defense gives up many chunk plays.

Needs some game changers on both sides of the ball.

I made this prediction a few weeks ago but this team feels like it has destiny on its side. I think they beat Arkansas 35-10, win out, win the SEC and CFB championship and Nuss wins Heisman. Brian Kelly, this coaching staff and this talent is a winning combination. They’re not the deepest or most talented but they have “It”. Brian Kelly will win at least 2 if not 3 rings before he is done. Lack of depth in a playoff run due to injury is the only thing that can stop them.

And to top it all off you dumb so there's that

I'm with you, I'm not saying it's can't happen, but I think you might be a little too optimistic.

LOL we’re not winning out, but with some luck and the defense continuing to improve, as well as Nussmeier not having another game like Saturday (minus the last 2 throws)… man we could actually make the playoffs.

This isn't going to happen. You may very well win both games, but neither will be by more than 10 points, and you will be extremely fortunate to escape College Station with an undefeated conference record.

This team has too many deficiencies on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. Don’t be surprised if we get rocked by an opponent we shouldn’t have lost to.
