Here’s the problem of the entire post...”LSU will not be in any kind of championship”.......

Have you looked back on the defensive stats when Chaisson/Logan/Lawrence were playing? Not only not bad, but pretty damn good. It’s the first year LSU is in a position where they DONT have to rush people back because we do have an offense. Also, making the assumption that teams/players don’t evolve over a season is fairly shortsighted. The LSU offense in 2003 became a real legit unit when the freshman RB’s came into their own about mid October. Sit back...enjoy the ride.

Our defense is as good as anyone’s in the SEC by stats. Deal with it! Move on!

What does protecting Burrow against other strong DLs have to do with our defense?
OM just put up 476 against Bama with a dumbass coach and back up QB

The conference we play in is far more top heavy than any other conference. We have far more enhanced chances of losing conference games than OSU, OU, Clemson. If we were in any one of their conferences we'd look all-world. SEC teams get beat up and cannabalized.

In case you haven’t heard but LSU biggest problem for years has been on offense, not so much this year.

What was the score at half? What was the final? Are you trying to be serious here?

Injuries, OP. Injuries.

Ask that whiny midget in Inbredtown what happens to a defense when injuries happen in positions.

If we can somehow stay healthy going into November, then I like our chances - A LOT.

I don't think we've had all of our DL available for a single game yet this season.

Yeah, actually I did, but let's get to the "100% Correct" analysis of the OP that you so obtusely agree with.

The so called "elite" defenses he names are:

1) Florida - couldn't stop Miami or a QB-less UK squad;

2) Alabama - Ole Miss hung 31 on them yesterday;

3) Texas A&M - couldn't stop a talent free Arkansas;

4) Auburn - the No 71 pass defense in the country.

Our DL is slow & has no talent - no our DL is hurt, but has two potential draft picks out - and Shelvin is both fast a playing well.

Our OL won't be able to protect Burrow against the "elites". First, see above, and also we did just fine against TEXAS.

We have no running game - wrong again. We've improved weekly on yards per carry, but, just like BAMA, we haven't been trying to routinely establish the run.

Finally, we won't win more than 9 games - that means that he's projecting losses to the 3 "elites" left: Florida, Auburn and BAMA. He states this garbage like its fact, but it's an unsubstantiated projection, that totally ignores that most of the "experts" as well as the bookies would touch with a 10 foot pole. It's just negative BS!

The OP, just like you, have what Saban called Catastrophe Syndrome! Something has to be wrong, because this is LSU and the other shoe is gonna drop....

Bull$hit!

If your that damn miserable, I feel really sorry for you because your problems go a lot deeper than your views on LSU football.

Irrelevant because I was assured by all the “intelligent posters” here that even garbage time points scored on a defense matter.
