Been telling y'all CJJ gets his teams in gear for February and march

We still aren't playing our best ball, but last night was great.

If we can win out except for UF and uk, 13-5 in the conference with a win or two in the sec tourney and I'll like our chances.

Only if they win the SEC tournament which is very possible

Last night was great, but this is totally false. The Rhode Island loss is really bad and not being able to close out marginal teams like Ole Miss and Alabama is gonna kill this team's chances. A big improvement from the last few years, but this is an NIT team this year.

Right on brother! If we can win the next 5 (or at least 4/5), I might be singing a different tune in a couple of weeks.

We have road games left we should win. We have lost two road games against lesser teams and had an home loss to a comparable team. This team will have to prove the critics wrong and win the ones we should from here on out. IMO very unlikely. But I love the direction we're heading

we have a long way to go but this is a huge win for us.

we are still a bubble team but if we are going to be the last 4 in or last 4 out this may put us over the hump.

we'd have to win about 8 of our final 11 games to make the tourney

NIT is possible, though

No, we won't make the NCAA tourney. Last night was a big win, but I have a feeling that it was the perfect storm (no pun intended). Our guards shot well, we were at home, we played with high energy, UK played a little flat.

Don't misunderstand me, this was a very good win, and one we really needed. But there's a long way left to go, and we need to play at this high level every night and win on the road against mediocre teams. Our margin for error is very low.

I'm enjoying this win, but I just have the feeling we'll look back and say this was the high point of our season, and we'll slip back to playing like we did before the UK win. I hope this is a springboard, but I'm skeptical.

some of you people are too negative.

LSU will probably jump into the 50s in RPI, if we can finish in the top 5 in the SEC we have a very good shot at the dance.

if we'd have beaten UMass, Rhode Island and bama we'd have a legit shot

We can't afford to lose anymore like Bama and Ole Miss. From here on out, this team has no excuse losing to less talented ones, especially at home. That being said, that was a huge and much needed win last night. It renewed my hope for this program going forward.

Our tourney position all depends on how we finish the season if LSU starts to play their best Bball near the end then I suspect we will make it. If we limp through the rest of the year playing well against more talented teams but laying eggs against less talented teams we will be in the NIT.

1 or 2 games don't determine post season position like in football. It is a resume sure one of those games may put you over the hump or prevent you from making it but to say that we have no shot because we lost three games we should have won is not understanding how it works

Some of you obviously don't have much experience watching LSU basketball. The win last night was a great win, but to think that because they won a game against a not very motivated, to LSU's credit, UK is going to somehow make them go the rest of the season and only lose 2 more times is simply not realistic.
