LSU will install plays in fall camp tailored to all three QB’s

LSU's preseason offensive plan.
The Advocate reported, with LSU installing a new offensive system under coordinator Mike Denbrock, the quarterbacks mostly ran the same, basic plays throughout the spring. In some ways, that prevented any of them from highlighting their best traits, which contributed to a lack of separation between them. Once preseason practice begins, LSU will install plays tailored to each quarterback. Kelly hopes someone will then emerge from the pack.
Also Daniels is working hard and getting help with his accuracy after having to change his footwork, which was the reason he missed passes in the spring, implied that his accuracy could be much improved in fall camp. The Advocate article explained that it’s a three way tie at QB, but with each QB getting an offense in fall camp designed for their unique talents, Kelly expects one to stand out and start.

Yes and no. Yes he’ll see the field but no I don’t think it’ll be a 2 QB system. I can definitely see him getting packages and RPOs designed for him. The cat has REAL SPEED.

I still don’t understand this logic. Actually, it’s more that I think you aren’t applying any. Even with Daniels coming in, the QB situation is more favorable for Nuss than it was when he signed. I don’t think he thought he expected to even truly be in the mix Year 2, much less be the clear starter. And now he’s got better QB coaches to develop him.
That redshirt bought him an extra year on having to make a decision. It just makes no logical sense for him to have even come him here in the 1st place if he was gonna bail this early. What Daniels and Brennan do really shouldn’t affect him. The only thing that possibly should is if Howard somehow winds up starting over him this year, which is highly unlikely.

Daniels has to significantly improve his passing game to be a dual threat. If he doesn’t and plays the opposing DC can take a smoke break.
We recruited running backs to be runners, Daniels roll is as a dual threat QB if he is not he will prolly not see the field much, if at all.
