The natural lifespan of a Bengal Tiger in the wild is 10-15 years.
In captivity it's 18-20 years.
Also, LSU Veterinary is providing top grade health care for Mike along with exceptional research, which(we hope)is helping them from being extinct.
You people need to get a grip and stop bitching about everything.

Meh. I always enjoyed seeing Mike go by in his trailer but I could do without this.
1. This isn't even "Mike".
2. Though I'm not a PETA nut, I can see how putting a Tiger in a small enclosure and parading him around a loud stadium could be stressful to the cat. Just so the fans can see a Tiger go by in a trailer. Meh.

The country was a better place when men were men. We were the apex predators and we acted like it.
It’s a symptom of a larger problem.
Ask yourself is the country better off today than when Mike was in his rightful place outside of the visitor’s locker room
