I love the woke-scolds all getting their panties in a knot over this. Bring in a Tiger. Let the vet school give Mike his pre-game meal and and ban leftist from Tiger Stadium

TD gave us Positigers and Negatigers, now we have a Impostertiger!

This is dumb. While my vote is to just keep bringing Mike out there… if it isn’t Mike, then don’t do it.
Just some other tiger?
This is lame as frick.

Has anyone told Landry that he rented a tiger who was named after a Democrat?

They used to give Mike a choice, before they did away with this tradition all together.
They would open the door to the cage if he went in he would go to the game, if he didn’t he wouldn’t go.
Ultimately they decided this tradition was not in the best interest of Mike because it caused him stress.

Clown move by a clown governor.
LSU needs to move as far away from this as possible. When the rent-a-tiger arrives, the band and cheerleaders need to be off the field. No PA announcement, nothing. Just let Landry do his thing so that everyone can see it's his thing, not LSU's.
For those who think big cats aren't allowed to have feelings and that being frightened is okay because Mike has a nice habitat to return to, consider what Landry is doing to some poor innocent gas station tiger (cuz I'm assuming this is where he got this one).
Consider what the tiger's weekend is going to be like. He's going to be put in a cage, probably drugged and transported for hours to Baton Rouge. He doesn't have a nice habitat to go to once his stunt is over, so where does he spend Saturday night? (hopefuilly at Landry's mansion). He probably spends the night in that cage and then has to endure the long return trip to Florida.
That seems like pretty awful treatment to me.

The liberals sure are pissed about Tuesday's election. They cant seem to grasp that being pissy about everything is why people keep voting them out of office. The more stuff they cry about, the more guys like Trump, Desantis, and Landry will get elected
Keep crying. We like winning

Pretty sure they do…or is Mike a contrarian with all of the time he spends in his own personal pool?

You mean all the other animals that have a trainer next to them to comfort them at all times? Who's comforting a tiger in their cage?
Try again

I’ve been up close to Mike in his travel cage at the games many times. He’s usually just lying there taking it all in. He isn’t up pacing around and roaring the entire time. In fact, since they quit trying to get him go roar 20 years ago, Mike usually just chills in his cage.

Because he's heavily sedated, which is always great for animals!
Try again

It's very telling that there has been no official statement or press release from LSU on this.

Borrowing a live Tiger for the field is equivalent to borrowing Aubrie for a game in Baton Rouge. If it’s not the real Mike The Tiger then no other Tiger at all.
