Have noticed no love has been given by the SECN lately (as it should be, given last year's performance). Our WR corps did not make the top five projection, and certainly our qb didn't either.

BUT - after all the dust settles on the qb competition, look for a JFF-Jameis Winston-Kenny Trill type of breakout from Mr. Harris. Why not??
The running backs and receivers we have will only reinforce his confidence, and once the Tiger train leaves the station, other teams better look out.

Of course McElroy and Suckbaum will be changing their tunes and saying they knew it all along, but the "experts" will really have no response other than to state the obvious.

I seldom start posts, but am just feelin' it lately. LSU is about to surprise, and punish some mf'ers!

Think about our star power. If we can open up enough to let Fournette and Guice carry the heavy load, and if Harris can have the 3rd down conversion success that Mett did in 2013, and keep our defense rested, this team will be real hard to beat.

For sure, this is the worst part about his thread post, but I have him the benefit that he meant Kennys 1st game of his career vs USCe.

LSU is not unstoppable with a thin front 7 and a qb who's started one game, in the toughest division in college football nonetheless

Point taken - but keep in mind other perennially strong teams' qb situations, and the one with the best qb is pretty much starting over everywhere else.

Will be a damn good football season if things do pan out. After State and Auburn I think we'll have more believers than negatigers.

I'm not sure that you understand what unstoppable means. What does the defense have to do with teams being able to stop LSU's offense.

there are a LOT right now....just a handful of guys on here that try and bash every positive thread possible. Each time a thread is made with something positive, it never fails that the same posters rush in to try and put a damper on any enthusiasm. It's comical actually.

than negatigers

they will do one of a couple of things....some will say they knew it all along, were just trying to have a little fun....some will fade away....just waiting for the first opportunity to rush back in and bash...you know the types.....these are the ones I wish Admins would permaband.

What if LSU ended up just whipping Bama's arse in Tusca, winning by like 42. Good lawd that would be sweet.

I don't watch a lot of finebaum but what does that guy have in for les miles. Last year a lot of Georgia fans were after Mark Richt and Finebaum would take the reasonable approach and say things like well fine and dandy but who are you going to replace him with and if he has a losing season then yes it is time. For LSU and Les, he tries to stimulate talk of removing Miles. Yesterday, when news broke of the injury to Mills, he asks Moscona and what if things go extremely wrong what is Miles' future. I mean what would you say if asked that question. And this is just one example. Anyone know why Finebaum is so down on Miles.

hell, I've seen articles that didn't even place our RB's in the top 5 of the SEC. ditto for our coaching staff; even had Sumlin rated higher than Miles. considering Sumlin has never placed higher than 4th in the West that's how much anti-love we are getting.

that's when LSU shines the brightest. we are gonna kick some arse this year.
