It used to be we were disappointed if our entire team wasn't number 1 in the SEC.

we're talking about talent wise. When, talent wise, was the entire team ever #1 in the SEC?

But I agree with the OP that we could have the #3 defense talent in the SEC this coming season behind just Georgia and Bama and another great recruiting class or two with some slippage in recruiting from Bama and Georgia and we start closing the gap.

you're forgetting that we will have Tyler Shelvin eligible this year to rotate in at the nose.

In O’s second year we’ll have the deepest and most talented line on both sides of the ball since 2011.

And more then likely have a 8-4 record at best... I will be sorely disappointed if we don’t win at least ten games this year... Should have easily won 11 last year with the easy schedule but O disappointed... We had a veteran team with extremely talented youth spread throughout the roster.... We were promised something more but got Les with O... After last year, I have little faith that O will turn this around... His hires are unfortunately proving his incompetence.... Thank goodness for Aranda....

You can down vote the statement by TigerHemi, however it’s true. If the defense is left out on the field, they will become gassed. There has been nothing over the past several years to indicate it will be any different this coming season. The spring game is not an indication.

LSU will looking at that kind of season for decades to come. LSU is cursed on the offensive side of the ball.

Not cursed, just have run the wrong type of offenses with Miles there with the talent that they have had. Offensive minded coaches would have passed the shite out of the football with the WR talent that has come through LSU over the years. Using the pass to set up the run which would have made running easy for some of the talented RB's that have been there too over the years. Not sure how they would have been defensively, but at least people would have been excited seeing wide open LSU offenses.
