You're going to have to wait a few days before these roll onto the secondary market platforms. UT fans are going to sell or give away these extra tickets to their friends first. I'm crossing my fingers because my girlfriend is friends with a second priority season ticket holder and she is going to sell us hers if she can her hands on some. Does anybody know the status of where they are in the "line?"

Due to overwhelming demand, all single game tickets offered for the Sept. 7 game vs. LSU in this week's presales are SOLD OUT.

I wonder what they do with all the season tickets that are still available to purchase. Do they start selling those after their 1st home game since they won’t be able to be sold as a season package anymore?

Partial season packages. Bundle in some of the bad games with it.

They ended season ticket sales Sunday and moved on to individual sales Monday. I was scheduled to be able to buy LSU tickets Wed at 9 am but higher donor/ season ticket holders gobbled them all up before new season ticket holders had a shot

You can still go to Texas’ website and buy season tickets.

The fact that you can still buy UT season tickets tells me that my best bet for cheapest tickets to our game against them will be outside the stadium at game time.

I doubt students will be getting any tickets from LSU. There may be a few reserved for high priority students, but not sure.

well I actually already got my student tickets for the game, so I’m curious if LSU will sell any more to students with the new allotment because I had a few friends that were unable to get tickets

that's why i think it will be harder to get tickets next year (if you aren't an lsu ticket holder). most people in austin dgaf about sports or ut specifically. baton rouge will be a big draw for traveling for the ut base.

i also think ut sells their own tickets on stubhub. they have a sponsorship with stubhub and have the logo printed in dkr. i think they use it to get market value for a lot of their unsold tickets (or influence the market value)

Had no idea you could buy LSU season tickets right now. I thought there was still a waiting list.

There hasn’t been a waiting list for a few years now.

How can you still buy season tickets if all the LSU/Texas tickets are sold out?

You can still go on their website and pick the seats you want for season tickets. Maybe they just sold a select few seats and are still hoping to sell more season tickets. I didn’t register an account to take it that far but you can still pick seats and they show up in your cart along with the donation required.

This is pure speculation but I think they will end up offering LSU in a mini plan to offload more tickets but are doing everything they can to prevent LSU fans from buying them all up.

I disagree that “most” people in Austin don’t care about Texas football.

My brother picked up 3 of those newly released tix at face value from a UT alum friend, so we are in! At least there will be P&G in some of those seats.

I just emailed the Texas ticket office. I didn’t get an answer on what happens with the season tickets that don’t sell but she did say there were still approximately 600 season tickets available for purchase. They are “anticipating on selling them all before the season.”

Be careful with fakes if you go this route. I bought my tickets on stubhub, they were emailed to me last night. If I wanted to I could make 100 copies of the tickets and sell them outside the stadium. The only ones that will work will be whoever goes into the stadium first.

Yep - I had planned on that but got lucky with a UT season ticket holder. Face Value $175 - got 4 today.
