If it wasn't for the NBA Finals, it would likely be the primetime game, imo.

First game is Sunday, then Tuesday. If we win those we play Friday with the if necessary game on Saturday. With the finals starting Monday.

Didn't keep up much with baseball this year? How did LSU do against A&M?

LSU won two close ones against aTm on Thursday and Friday. Bain got roughed up on Saturday.

LSU and aTm are very similar. Good starting pitching. Ultra-aggressive at the plate, possibly more aggressive if you can believe it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Poche have some absurdly low pitch count against them?

Call your provider and ask for them to give you more data for the month they will charge you like 20 bucks but its easily done so you don't incur data usage fees.

I wanted the night game too.

It's gonna be a longggggg day/night at Bogies, with Game 5 of the NBA Finals later that night.

Hopefully we don't try to swing for the fences at every bat this time around.

CWS Opening Round Match-Ups:

Virginia vs. Arkansas
(5) Miami vs. (4) Florida

(2) LSU vs. Fort Worth Super Regional winner
Vanderbilt vs. Louisville Super Regional winner

Sets up nicely if LSU wins game 1.

Not to get ahead of ourselves, but you could face Vanderbilt with Fulmer wasted or Illinois with Jay wasted. As long as we don't play those small ball runts from Fullerton.

Completely agree

We have two aces, and that's all you need to win the CWS. You get plenty of rest IF you keep winning. In this case only Lange will be ready for Sunday, so he'll pitch.

Poche would be the better choice if it's TCU, but that's probably not going to happen on five days rest - maybe, though.

Both guys are pitching great. If that continues, and we play sound defense, we could win this.

Poche would be pitching on pretty much a full week's rest.

I'm guessing the more attractive Sunday matchup gets the afternoon slot because the night game is opposite Sunday Night Baseball. Notice the Vandy game is only opening round game on ESPN2. 4AM Monday first pitch for me.

Poche would be 6 full days of rest - Mon-Sat - 6 days. Just saying.

Did anyone else see that A&M pitcher call out the umpire after giving up the run-scoring double?

Poche will be ready but you have to pitch Lange. Game 1 is too important to not throw your best pitcher
