I think that makes SC like a Quad 6

So losing to a quad 6 team is a bad look... CHECK.

McMahon should be fired regardless if they win or lose he has already shown he can't coach at this level,or any level

I would say that is hyperbole, but I will say for all of those folks who say it's ALL about the talent, even we have more talent than SC and we are playing them at home...so if we lose this one.....

The team does not think like you. Despite the streak the team still plays hard every game. Sure they look bad but it's not from lack of effort. Any other team would have packed their bags and air mailed their games but not this one.

I also see them genuinely having fun out there and ultimately that's what college sports is about.

Nope! LSU should wallow in mediocrity for Woody's arrogance.
Just like T A&M.
Spending boat loads of someone else's money is no guarantee of success.

Have my doubts that we'll win because we're genuinely that bad.

That being said, this win is important for player and coaching staff morale moving into the offseason. This is basically the super bowl of the two bottom feeders in the SEC.

Well this is a rare opportunity to win a game it should win--which is exactly why I think we lose tomorrow.

This LSU basketball team has proven all season it responds poorly under pressure.

I’d be surprised if they don’t win this one. They’ve played halfway decent at times lately

I don’t think finishing 2-16 in the SEC vs 1-17 is going to make a difference going forward.

Not well enough to win. And they respond going forward following a good effort (v Alabama at home) with a real stinker (putrid first half v Texas A&M). Expect LSU to play its worst in the first half this Saturday.

I hope they bring Miller off the bench so we don't get shot into a hole. Plus I think a 6th man role will help him focus a bit more.

On the plus side, we’ve seen increased minutes for Reed, Ward and Phillips. I actually saw Reed make a really good move or two to the basket against Georgia… of course, he also traveled underneath the basket.

Ward getting more time could be big for next year, and Phillips had 7 boards in only 11 minutes of play. I’m surprised he didn’t get in in the second half (I suppose it’s because his offense is limited to say the least, but we do need his size down low moreso than his scoring).

I know we’ve had a pitiful year, but I am looking forward to what that trio can bring. I still wish Ward and Phillips could have been playing much sooner.

We still need a dynamic point guard
