Kendall Rogers just tweeted a question about pushing back the MLB draft since scouts won't have anyone to scout for a while.
If that happens, I wonder if they freeze the eligibility to what it is for the current date or extended the date back making more sophomores draft eligible.
This is going to have far reaching effects on college baseball rosters from a returning player and incoming player standpoint.

are these series cancelled or just suspended? The state series is next weekend. When was the last time we didn't play Mississippi state in a season? That could be a really long streak in jeopardy.
Also is the team still allowed to practice? Wouldn't be good for pitchers to just take a month off in the middle of the season

Certainly no one is going to deny that some degree of precautionary measures should be practiced/put in place. But we have entered a race to be the MOST precautionary...with no one wanting to fall behind in that race. We've already watched the progression happen in real time within the span of less than 24 hours: No change in schedule....to playing without fans...to the individual event is cancelled....to ALL events are canceled through a certain date....to (some schools) canceling activities "indefinitely." There is no question another domino will fall
