I've had this game sitting on my computer (shout out LSU Mac). Think I'm just gonna upload it. Give me about 10 minutes.

One of the most exciting games of the Hallman era and there weren't too many.

ETA: Enjoy. Eddie Kennison returns the opening kickoff like 45 yards. He was always fun to watch no matter how bad things were.

Anyone know how I can get a copy of the 1993 Ole Miss vs LSU game.

Doesn't look like it was televised, according to this link.

I am still looking for that tape or the ole miss game bro. Haven’t forgot about you. I am off work tomorrow so I will be able to give a good look in the old closet where I keep the games. I can’t promise I have it but I’ll give it a look tomorrow

Jay Johnson went off that game

He was running with authority, until a late drive-killing fumble which allowed a long drive which gave Ole Miss a chance to win with a FG- which was just barely missed

The LSU vs Arkansas game in '93 was one of the coldest games as well. My toes were frozen and it was a day game. With a win we would have been bowl eligible..of course we got skunked thank you Curley.

A good reminder for those who only became LSU fans after 2000 that it wasn't always like it is now. Most were wondering if Curley may be fired after starting 2-5 on the season. A bowl game wasn't even something LSU fans were considering to be a remote possibility in November. The shocking win at Alabama changed everything, and there was a palpable buzz around Tiger Stadium that day that win win would send the Tigers to the prestigious Carquest Bowl. Unfortunately, it was not to be.

I would have been in the student section for that game. If I remember it was bitterly cold that game.

That was a good game by LSU, and yes it was cold-- October 30, 1993. Probably the coldest October night in Baton Rouge history-- brrrrr!

One thing is apparent after rewatching this game-- Billy Brewer may have actually been a worse coach than Curley Hallman.

I remember that one also, during that time I had a field pass or I sat with the Football Coaches families, also in the area, were many of the recruits and their family.

That's not mine, I just read the thread and looked in Youtube for it, and it had been posted since you started the thread.

Sad thinking about wasting Kennison on that crappy team, but at least he got the chance to beat the hell out of Saban in Shreveport a couple years later.

LSUMAC is legit! I've ordered several games from him. Check out his site, which also includes lots of baseball and basketball games. He can send you a DVD or put the game on a thumb drive for you. Prices are very reasonable, in my opinion.

Gdamn, how frustrating was it to watch Jamie Howard? 2 consecutive plays could go from Heisman to horseshite.

1997 against Notre Dame was miserable.

Thank God for early 90's LSU baseball and basketball, because early 90's LSU football was an ongoing kick in the nads

Joined military right out of high school early 90's. I remember seeing the scores at the bottom of the screen while watching a big time matchup. Oh look LSU is getting crushed again. Honestly being out of the state at the that time was a good thing.
