Unfortunately I see LSU going on a turnover spree early, getting behind and failing to capitalize at the line. After getting behind big early, we stabilize and keep it respectable but never threaten to take the lead.

It's the NCAA Tournament, and State is a big name program with some nice wins this year. If we can't get up for this, there's something really wrong.

Why, other than the fact that they played a tough schedule, is it a tough matchup for LSU?
I see two teams with several good pieces and Head Coaches who have long histories of maddening inconsistency. Hell, Jones coached under Gottfried. Who knows what NC St./LSU team will show up? These teams really should be better that 8/9, but there is a reason they are. Should be a very good game

This game IMO will come down to perimeter defense and rebounding. Both teams rebound well, LSU needs to win here. NCST relies on the 3 a lot. 600+ attempts on the season. Guards need to play very good D.
