Hope- LSU wins the game they desperately need to stay alive
Prediction- Kentucky wins by over 20.
Alternate prediction- LSU wins, but instead of this boosting the Tigers back into the picture, the media goes on a campaign about how this just exposes what a fraud Kentucky is, instead.

Won't predict a score but don't think it will be close - KY in Rupp can be brutal when they have a score to settle.

I'd like to see Ben just put up 40/15/7 and win POY at Rupp.

I don't trust this team. At all. I believe Kentucky is undefeated at home.
Kentucky - 91
LSU - 74
Kentucky - 91
LSU - 74

81-74. We stay in it the whole game, maybe take the lead a couple times. At the end of the day UK is the better team. They make the plays at the end

These are the types of games where you realize just how good LSU can be and are equally as frustrated because they aren't on a consistent basis.
LSU plays well against UK not because Jones isn't"that bad of a coach", or because Calipari isn't that great, or because UK's players aren't "that good". It's because LSU has the fricking horses to run with Kentucky. The problem is that they only seem to play focused basketball against the "good" teams.
In '13-'14 LSU handled UK pretty easily in the first match up at the PMAC. One month later LSU went to Rupp sputtering along with ~.500 SEC record, while UK looked like they were starting to find their groove, winning 5 of 6 after the LSU loss. Everyone expected a UK blowout. What actually happened was that UK found themselves VERY lucky to escape with an OT win on a last second tip-in.
Last year the UK juggernaut came to the PMAC to play a LSU team that had just lost to 2 of the worst teams in the SEC. It took LSU folding late for UK to leave the PMAC undefeated.
This year's team was "the most disappointing team in the nation" going into the UK game. That "disappointing" group hammered UK by 18 in a game that may not have even been that close.
I think I am FAR from the biggest sunshine pumper when it comes to LSU basketball, but LSU can stand toe-to-toe with UK ON ANY COURT. Simmons is better than any player on UK's team. Murray is great, but if he gets rolling, Blakeney can be equally as unstoppable. Victor is as sold as any post-player UK has, and Quarterman can be a X-factor on both ends of the floor.
LSU doesn't do the "little things" right every game. It's why they can lose to anyone, anytime. It's why this can be a frustrating program to cheer for. However, when the focus and intensity is there, including from the usually statuesque HC, this team can really make things rough for anyone.

Kentucky want win if Murray doesn't have a big game ,with that being said the way Blakeney is playing right now he could neutralize Murray. And If Ben and Craig can get Uk's bigs in foul trouble again the Tigers will walk out of Rupp with the w

This looks about right. UK is hard to beat in their place.

Completely different scenario. That team had Darryl Joe, and Dale Brown coaching.

unfortunately this is correct. Plus UK is at home, senior day, SEC regular season championship potentially on the line, and revenge on their mind for our earlier beat down of them.
This will be a blowout.. UK 88 LSU 70....

Road game, backs against the wall, potential NCAAT on the line....
I have to go with the pattern I've seen all season:
LSU 62
KY 85
