My dad VHSd everything LSU back in thr day.
I still have some of the tapes. Don't know if I have that game or if it would even be any good 23 years later.
That being said, I would have to find the notebook where he wrote down what's on the tapes and then cross check to see if I kept it.
And... I have a 65" TV partially blocking the shelf where the videos are.

Yea, it’s one that just sticks out no matter how many you’ve gone to. It’s like Earthquake, somehow the atmosphere or whatever it is helps the memory stay clearer than other great games.

For me the 07 UF game when I got to sit in student section as highschooler. So many memories of that one.

We were in the front row right behind the UGA bench and when their kicker, Billy Bennett, missed his first attempt, our whole section was relentlessly on his arse while he did warm ups and sat on the bench.
He ended up having a terrible day with 3 missed FG.. an often unremembered part of the win.

It was really a sloppy game. Ton of dropped passes on both sides, Bennett missing FGs like you said and the QBs couldn’t complete a pass on 3rd down. End of each half it seemed like both teams locked in and executed much better but it was a punt fest for a long time.

This was probably the best day game ever in TS simply due to the buildup and the fact we were still dealing with the concept that LSU never plays well
or wins big games in the day in TS.
I remember Saban even having to address that idea. UGA was loaded too. I was doing a rotation in New Orleans and decided I was gonna drive up and try and buy a ticket to the game that day. I vividly remember finding one for $80 and felt like the guy was trying to screw me. But it was getting close to kickoff and ticket was in lower bowl. $80 back then felt like $450-500 now.
I said F it and bought it. That game alone taught me that money comes and goes but a memory like that is difficult to come by. I was by myself around fellow tiger fans that I had never met and we had the time of our lives.
One of the top 3-5 games I have seen in TS since the 90s.
Because of this thread I am gonna watch it tonight since it got put back up!
