We can't even sniff a Final Four since then.

We lost two tough games in the Elite Eight the previous two seasons. You don't believe we've even sniffed it?

That last shot circling the rim a couple of times before personifies the whole game. Duke got so many good breaks in this game

It was not one play or player
We played bad the whole game and was fortunate to be in it to the end.

Duke had a golden horseshoe up their arse all game long. Every bounce, every roll, every loose ball, every 50/50 ball went their way for 40 minutes.

I normally don’t like “the other team got lucky” line, but I have to admit, this is true.

We lost because we didn’t rebound like we usually do. Too many second chances for Duke.

You can’t leave your feet there though. It’s 1 second left just put 2 hands up and if she makes it then so be it. But don’t jump and fall for a weak arse fake then give her a clean look smh

Two seconds left . Stand your ground and hands up , no need to jump .

True, but that was an extremely dumbass play.

basketball loses on a luck shot

It wasn't lucky. It was a great shot, and an appropriate end to a game the Blue Devils really dominated. The fact that LSU came back from 11 down with 6 minutes to go and then take a lead was remarkable, and featured great execution from Johnson, Fulwiley and Williams, but you always got the feeling that Duke would find a way to win and they did.

I really wanted LSU to win and play UCLA in the final, but it was unlikely that would have been a close game

Our women’s basketball team struts around like they run NCAA basketball and got punked by Caitlin Clark in the rematch, lost to UCLA last year, get beat by South Carolina every time we play, finished 4th in the SEC this season, and just lost in the round of 16 to a team we beat by 16 points in the regular season.

This program is more worried about social media clicks than being elite.

Don’t tell me the elite programs don’t get to the final four every year. UConn and South Carolina are. Texas has come into the SEC and replaced us in the women’s basketball hierarchy.

If we’re never going to address our post problems we have to play substantially more disciplined than we have the last two years. Poor post play and low iq basketball will forever cement us a second weekend program.

Hopefully Shaq’s daughter and another big are on the way. Maybe he’ll give us additional NIL funds too

We don’t lose $8 million om women’s baskeball to finish 4th in the SEC and bow out in the Sweet 16.

To whom much is given, much is expected.

That, and far too many careless pass turnovers in the first half when we had momentum. We were our own worst enemies this evening, but that was a real tough-it-out game and I am proud of our ladies for a great season.

great season.

What was great?

Beating Southland and SWAC schools by 60?

Seriously we pay top dollar on our women’s team and get “pretty good” results. The money spent is greater than the results.

I think they hustled more, but they didn't dominate. LSU shot a better fg %, a better 3%, tied in rebounding and turnovers and LSU shot 16-17 on free throws. Duke was clutch though and always had an answer for LSU.
