It is a by-product of the high-risk, athletic style of play. Lots of aggressive athleticism against a more disciined team usually results in lots of fouls, key players fouling out, and lots of free throws for high-precentage free-throwers on the opponents team

We're complaining about the refs because this is bullshite. Both teams were allowed to play defense early on. Now, if LSU contests a shot at all, it's immediately a foul. If we knock the ball loose, whistle blows.. shite, half the time if we get a rebound it's a foul or an immediate traveling call.

I agree. Y'all may be the whiniest fan base I've ever seen when it comes to basketball. Your big men need to move their feet and stop throwing their hips into the offensive player down low. Those foul calls are with the body. Basically hip checks and they are there.

We are going to foul out all of our starters at this pace. Cheap calls. But the refs seem to call it even.

My God this officiating is unbelievable. I'm tired of officials costing us games. As much as i'm sick of bitching about. That last foul was unbelievable
