Right now…just in case anyone actually watches that!

we went... it was a great atmosphere... many more people than normal... Journee Robinson is a beast, very exciting player to watch... glad we got the W, b/c the schedule is about to get ridiculously tough, with them being on the road vs. 5 teams currently in the top 14 (Kentucky, Texas, Texas A&M, Tennessee, and Florida)... i don't expect to win any of those games, honestly

Happy we won, but I wish the volleyball coach got as much scrutiny on here as the softball coach. Y'all act like volleyball doesn't exist, but as long as LSU sponsors sports, I demand all of then perform at a high level. When is the last time the volleyball team made the NCAA or even advanced in the tournament?

she's a senior, out of eligibility after this season, so no, she's not transferring anywhere

they'll win a set here and there, b/c they are the "easy" team that those teams are supposed to beat, so the other teams may play down to their level, but in terms of winning any of them, no, i can't see us beating any of those teams...
Mizzou, who is about on our level, gave us everything we could handle today, and while we did get the win, it definitely wasn't easy, and Mizzou is in not way, shape, or form anwhere close to the level of those other 5 teams....

I think the implication was that the poster was surprised she didn't transfer after last season. I was too. I have no idea what kind of NIL deals volleyball players get, but she must have gotten a sweet one to stay.

Absolutely love LSU volleyball. Great group of women but yeah...the next couple of weeks are going to be brutal. Outside of Jurnee, Jessica Jones, Sanaa Donaie, Brooker and Coleman - I don't know if our players would get any meaningful playing time at those other schools. They might not even make the team.
Coach Johnson is an incredibly nice lady and was a great player for us back in the day. I just don't see where she has the chops to make LSU a top level program.

That Toad-HC will lose every one of upcoming matches. Get rid of her, NOW or LATER

agree... and if you really watch, she don't do much coaching, at least not in game...

Louisiana churns out good defensive players and setters. But even the best hitters in LA are considered too small for most DIV I schools.
That means we have to rely on outside talent which is tough. LSUVB facilities are not as nice as the schools who take their programs seriously.
