Because he is not the best. He hasnt shown any ability to beat anyone one on one. No shake and bake. And he is timid on contact. I like Williams better than LF. Hilliard should be the starter.

Can someone pull up yards after contact for our RB's? Let's put this shite to rest.

That's what I thought. I'm tired of seeing this bullshite on here.

This team has a lot of issues, but LF isn't one of them.

Two things.

1)I think that now that a few games have been played, yes, LF looks like the best of the group. BUT, I wouldn't call it by some wide margin.

2)Honestly, it's damned hard to evaluate how good he can be because very few RBs look good when all 90,000 in attendance know the coaches are scared shitless to let the QB pass.

Let me guess, you base LF greatness on the infamous "eye test" huh?

The same eye test that made everyone here think we were going 10-2 or some shite again?

Is there a percentage that can be put on this (times they have been successful)?

When your QB can't complete simple passes, what kind of plays are you supposed to call?

Hard for the QB to get into any kind of rhythm when you run 17 of the first 20 plays and only throw in obvious passing situations.

Go back and watch the first few possessions. The play calling set up 2nd and short every time. Due to his obvious nervousness Harris would then either fumble or make some other mistake to put the team into a 3rd and long situation. You guys need to get your facts straight before you go on a "play calling" tirade. The plays were set up to give him success. His mistakes made it virtually impossible.

then the OL does not help...
and what happened to short and mid range passing plays ???

we keep this game plan, we will see a repeat of the NC game when we play Bama... THE BOX WILL BE STACKED SOLIDLY and it will be "pass if you can"
we need a short / mid passing game.

BTW, why did we start Harris ?
I would have said that Jennings was our QB so as to make AU plan for him, then I would have brought in Harris from the second series on.
Harris would have been more at ease, would have created the same effect and AU would have maybe been a little offguard .. why did we have to show our cards ahead of time ?

Either this is opposite day, or you are Ray Charles' zombie.

He is literally the ONLY scholarship RB with any shake, or bake. I have yet to see any other RB make anybody miss at all. He has ran through and dragged several people down the field. He carried a damn dude on his leg while another tried to break his jaw in the endzone just 2 weeks ago. At the end of the Auburn game, a guy had him dead to rights in the backfield, yet he made a move and tight roped the sideline for 9 yards. Not one other got damn RB on our team has down anything close to that.

Stop creaming your pants for a guy who bull rushes ahead with no wiggle for 3 or less yards. Hilliard, Magee, and Williams are pretty much just pile pushers. Magee can block and Williams can catch wide open passes, but that's it.

add in the only throws we are making is deep passes. we aren't running slants to help the qb.
