Switching the team logo on a bowl graphic seems like it would take about 4 hours

Instead of relying on Trent's fake twitter, you guys should just call him on his cell phone again.

If he is wrong and it's OSU great. .... Just seems pretty confident and could be in position to know. We will all know shortly so no biggie.

You realize that conversations with those schools have been going on since last night right? You realize that they have agreements in place based on what might be the rankings, right?

I have no doubt that some people at UM and KSU have been told if Bama and LSU match up in the NC, they are going to the Sugar. Your "connection" likely is assuming based on the Bama "pumpers" claiming their "sources" that it's a done deal, right?

You are probably correct.

I don't have any proof at all. Just common sense. If I am wrong more often than I am right, I will soon be unemployed. Assuming I want to stay employed, i will try to be right more than I am wrong. I am assuming the same holds true for you and your job. Now, if you work for the government you won't understand this concept and if so, I apologize.

That is my point against Brad Edwards supposed "homerism". If he is independently wealthy and is the ESPN BCS guy for "shitz and giggles" then my argument is invalid. But, if this is how he earns a living, you can bet he wants to be right.

Also possible that like all the talking heads at ESPN he says what his bosses tell him to say and just has a fancy title "BCS Expert" that is in fact meaningless. If this is how he earns a living, he will keep saying what his bosses tell him to say whether it is right or wrong.

He's not predicting the weather. He's never been accurate, yet he's stayed employed. He has no reason to be qualified for that job outside of he's a talking head that is a football fan. This is a guy that said there was no chance it would even be close.

Yet you continue to claim it is a done deal. Now you sound like a moron.

The talking heads on ESPN are frequently wrong (usually wrong but never in doubt). You stay employed by doing what you are told to do not by being accurate.

Geez people...Brad Edwards has ONE JOB. Its the same job that EVERYONE ELSE on ESPN has...

...Get more people to watch ESPN.

I have no idea if he is right, wrong, whatever. I do know that his job as the "BCS Expert" is to deliver whatever news ESPN wants him to deliver in order to get the best possible ratings for their BCS Selection Show. That is all.

He couldn't give a flying frick about whether or not he is "right" or not...and niether does ESPN.

GtG, I can't tell if you're trolling or actually believe this. I know you are smarter than to believe a fake Trent Richardson twitter.

EDIT: Even if it is real, of course he would post that wanting to get into the game. I wouldn't fault him for that.

An interesting note, if OSU gets in we're most likely looking at a Michigan vs Alabama Sugar Bowl, they would play back to back games because they face off in Jerry's World to start next season

for all you have provided to the Rant. You need your own section off to the left here, just under the "Tiger Rant" link, maybe just during NCAAF season. The shite you come up with is AWESOME.

Then that must be it, so ESPN can tout "Rematch of the Century" all offseason.
