Quite the journey from being a 2.5 underdog.

Webels are in trouble now that we are playing like LSU again

UPDATE Its now back down to 1.5-2 point favorites

Yeah it’s weird almost every betting podcast I’ve listen to they love LSU. I heard yesterday the most efficient offense Ole Miss has played is Troy.

They are going to get punched in the mouth tomorrow

I dont see this as a good thing.

Florida was a 2.5 favorite last week.

All this means is public money is overreacting to the UF game. Lets see how it moves in the next 24 hours when the sharp money comes in.

Again not trying to be negative but the line moving to LSU simply means that lots a public money is coming in on LSU and the books are moving the line to balance it.

Keep in mind the Line Makers and Sportsbook so called experts initially installed LSU as the underdog

Spread is to encourage betting not who is going to win.

Exactly. Who do you think the public is going to hammer when they see a top 10 team is an underdog to an unranked team?

A moving spread has nothing to do with the teams on the field. It is.moved by the wagers on each team.

This is a game I will
Avoid. People acting like ole miss is all of the sudden a shite team. They can put up points in a big way

Their run game scares me based on how we’ve looked defensively in recent weeks. However, OM has yet to face anyone with equal or better talent on their schedule. Kentucky was close but gagged the game away with turnovers.

Its alot more than public money on lsu. Lots of sharps on lsu too. At 3, im sure they’ll be some buyback on ole miss. Moving a line 2.5 to 2.5 doesnt take too much, those arent key numbers like 3 is

Public money doesn’t move the line. Vegas moves the line to promote more action. Vegas isn’t moving a line 5.5 pts in reverse bc ur next door neighbor put a 20 piece on the game baw. Sharps will move the line a half point here and there by dropping a clip on one team or another, but big line swings bc ur uncle Bill dropped a hundo isn’t mitigating exposure for Vegas at all.

I wish I would have waited. I dropped $300 on Ole Miss ML at +106 to win $318 earlier in the week. It’s at +114 now on fanduel.

It’s two things:
1) an overreaction to LSUs offensive performance against UF. I am happy for JD but he has to show that consistently for me to have faith it wasn’t just a fluke.

2) They don’t buy Ole Miss because it’s still Ole Miss.

Reality is LSUs defense has not been good the last few weeks and I honestly don’t know how much I believe in House because a lot of what UK fans said about him being more a puppet under Stoops is showing.

Still, I could see this game as a blowout for Ole Miss (a la UTk game) or tight win for LSU.

I can't recall a line moving 5.5 points from one favorite to the other without a key player being hurt or something like that. Very odd but I like the direction.

That’s to get y’all to lose money. Idiots taking that don’t realize how much of a difference Burns makes. The safeties are the key.

There is some buyback on Ole Miss in the last 30 minutes. LSU was -135 on the ML and it just dropped to -120. I took LSU -120 on the money line. If we lose oddsmakers can just take my money because I like LSU in this spot. Historically we do well against Ole Miss at home when they are undefeated. I think we’ve been in more dog fights against better teams. If I were playing for LSU nothing would please me more than to wreck this run Ole Miss is on. Geaux Tigers.
