Lost by 1 point in OT with a 2 point conversion, at LSU. Lost to Tennessee by a field goal at Tennessee. What team behind them should be in front? I hate Bama, but let's get real. Not like LSU destroyed or dominated them. They should be closely ranked.

Michigan and OSU still have to play, Georgia and hopefully LSU will play in the SEC championship game, USC vs Oregon in the PAC 12 championship and TCU still has some tough games plus a conference championship.

The ones sitting in the best spot is Tenn bc they have an easy schedule left and no conf. championship game.

One of those loses.

4 TCU 9-0

Will lose at least one and probably 2 of its remaining games. This week is likely one of those losses

quote:

6 Oregon 8-1

I believe they will lose to either Washington this week or Utah next.

That positions LSU perfectly to jump into the top 4 with an SECCG win.

We should be somewhat cheerleaders for UCLA here on out.

Only team can take both ORE and USC out of the equation.

They’re still overvaluing bad conferences

Should be 1. Uga 2. tOSU 3. Mich 4. Tenn 5. LSU.

Georgia is absolutely in a better spot than Tennessee. Do you really think Georgia would fall behind them (or Oregon) with a loss in the SECCG? Tennessee is in good shape if LSU doesn’t win out. If LSU wins out, Tennessee is out.

8 USC 8-1
9 Bama 7-2
10 Clemson 8-1

Bama and Clemson in the top ten? Lulz

Also, unless Tennessee loses again and both Oregon and USC have another hiccup (they play each other soon), I think we are outside looking in. Even if we beat UGA, we’d have to mop the floor with them to get consideration for the 4 spot over either Ohio State or Michigan, whoever loses that game.

If LSU beats UGA they will get in over either OSU or Michigan loser.

Maybe because:

Bottom line LSU has to beat Georgia to make it in the top 4. SECCG is basically a playoff game.

Doubt they make it even if they beat Georgia…which would super weird as they would be the SEC champs…

It would be really interesting to see what happens. Georgia would have to fall out of the top 4 because Tennessee is only going to move up if they win out…and we aren’t getting in over a team that beat us by 4 touchdowns

Yeah TN’s status is kinda screwy. Not sure if they’d pick a team that didn’t even win their division
over the conference champ.

7 not 6 fix title
well at least for what it’s worth we may as well be #6. LSU-Oregon interchangeable so if lsu beats Georgia then they jump Oregon no matter what. Georgia beat Oregon by 7 TDs.

Bottom line, lsu wins out and they’re national champions in year 1

I think Georgia is the heavy favorite to win it all, and I think they are the benchmark that will be used, not the head-to-head.

I think the committee will be putting Georgia in, and 3 other teams that they think has a chance to beat them. I think Tennessee comes up short there.

The SEC Champ will be in the playoffs. The champion of the best conference not being in the playoffs would be the dumbest thing to ever happen is sports (which would be fitting for cfb but I still don’t think it happens)
