I have a feeling UF is pushing hard for Monday night...thats why no announcement has been made..they feel they have time

I expect you may hear something a bit before that. One of the LSU radio guys said deadline was 4ET/3CT. I imagine the decision will be made by then with an hour to prepare for press conference. I wouldn't be surprised if the final decision gets leaked before then.

Ole miss has a bye this weekend and both Auburn and Bama are away, SEC will push for one of those venues before superdome, and Ole Miss would have the best chance of accommodating as far as hotels are concerned

I was just messing around because people are following this so closely and Florida clearly does not want to play LSU right now in Tiger Stadium with the coaching change if their coach is talking about the possibility of playing the game at their indoor facility. We are the most banged up and vulnerable after our Bama game, but I had to be clearly stupid and say they wanted it moved to next season so people wouldn't think it was serious. I mean, the indoor facility, like that would protect everyone during a hurricane?

Yall can forget about all these other venues. It isnt going to happen anywhere else other than BR or Gainsville. With the superdome coming in 3rd at a 1% chance.

As much as UF doesn't want this game in BR it likely will be. If they push it to Monday in Gainesville, and there are people without power or homeless at the time it will go over like a turd in the punch bowl. They need to face facts and just move it to BR.

I think they've made the decision, but are completing the details. Should have been done by noon, though, IMHO.

Most likely the decision has already been made and the logistics are being worked out (hotels, buses, flight arrangements, ect...). If they do announce that it'll be held at a different venue, all of the above will already be in place.
