there will be absolutely no energy in the dome for that.

It's part of the revised contract when they tore up the 10 year agreement several years ago, that LSU would make one trip to New Orleans.

Love it. I think it's a damn shame they don't play every year.

I wouldn't get too ahead of ourselves. Tulane may be vaguely relevant by then. Plus, the last time we played them in the dome it was at 11AM. Hence the fact that it was dead in there.

It's the season opener, so if it's at night it could be a pretty good atmosphere.

Terrible. We do best when we open against a quality opponent. It makes summer practices that much more intense.

Let's do Oregon again or something. Home and home with them would be amazing.

Of all the great things Skip Bertman did as AD, and there are too many to name, that contract he signed with Tulane was probably his worst moment.

Playing Tulane makes no sense at all. It's a lose/lose for LSU.

I can at least appreciate playing the other state schools to enhance the statewide university system.

All for it. I miss playing those jokers every year. Sure, its not practical to play them home and home anymore but Baton Rouge 6 or 7 times a decade and one or two in New Orleans is fine with me.

Ausberry said LSU is also pursuing a major BCS conference opponent to play in Tiger Stadium on Sept. 12, 2015. The Tigers are scheduled to play Arizona State at home in that game slot, Sept. 12, and then in Tempe in 2016, but Ausberry said he doesn't want to play Arizona State and Wisconsin in 2016. So, LSU is pushing back the Arizona State home-and-home to later years and bringing in another 2015 foe.

Cool. Have fun with that. I'll be in the Dome getting hammered and watching us rape the Greenies.
