Lonn said just the other day it was Al Davis from Missouri so his source cred is lacking

Peoples title hasn’t changed & he was never going to coach the full D-line

Why not?

Kelvin Sheppard’s first coaching job was OLB for the Lions.

Kellen Moore’s first job was WB coach for the Cowboys a year after he stopped playing.

not everyone is a GA and then a strength coach and then an assistant at ULL and then an analyst at Alabama and then an assistant at Miss State ….

Hope it works but don't love the on the job training aspect.

i think it's very fair to say he is underqualified for this role at a program of this echelon.

What experience does Kyle Williams have coaching/recruiting in college football?

Gives me RB Coach Kevin Faulk vibes

Didn’t think the grind of college coaching was something Kyle would be interested in.

This is a massive opportunity for him. Opens lots of doors with a bit of success.

I'm excited to see what he can do.

Williams was an undersized defensive tackle who had 13 years in the league. I am sure he can teach others how to play the position at a high level, considering he made it 13 years.

We will be technically sound. I just hope he can recruit.

Great hire especially in these times.

Get a great tiger with an NFL all pro pedigree who knows and was recently refreshed on the state’s high school scene.

Young and more relatable. Was lauded in Buffalo for his leadership, toughness and motor.

Definitely an unorthodox hire that you don’t see LSU make very often - similar to steeples. But he’s so much more of a fit. Glad Kelly had the balls to do it.

Probably stabilizes the position group too after the revolving door. I’m sure that mattered to Kelly.

Great player but unproven as a coach and recruiter. Hope it works out tho!
