It's a one game thing.

If our unis look half as good as FSU's, I'll be satisfied. I usually prefer the traditional look, but FSU's look really good.

I am a traditionalist. I think the regular LSU uniform should never be changed. But I have no problem with something different once a year. I hope this uniform does some honor to the past. maybe with a billy cannon era style helmet with the numbers on the side and the gray facemask.

I disagree

these uniforms represent the future, not the past.. do something that looks awesome and has never been done before.

Promotion, and stuff.

I know a few of these games are rivalries, both on the field and within the company.

For example:

Ohio St (Nike) vs Michigan (Adidas)
Florida St (Nike) vs Maryland (Under Armour)
LSU (Nike) vs Arky (Adidas)
Texas (Nike) vs Tx A&M (Adidas)

I think Nike "expects" to win these games.

Honestly, I don't like them. I think the gloves are cool. But the weird shoulder style looks like it is looking flashy. I am a big fan of the classic style of uniform that we already have. But this seems like another Nike gimmick that they always seem to do (example: Miami, old VT, NC State)

Except that NC State is sponsored by Adidas

Not every game's like that. Heck, one of the teams (UF) is wearing their new jerseys against a team that's also wearing the new Nike jerseys a different game (FSU, who's wearing their new jerseys against Maryland). But some of them are rivals both on the field and in the corporations.

I guess Nike is getting more aggressive with Under Armor.

I guess it means a pig roast. And the Tigers are playing the Hogs. Kind of funny, I guess.

no reason you can't do both.

look at what Texas and Ohio State did.
