I am not even speaking to the hurry up aspect.
I like the way the offense is opened up and the defense cant just key on the hand off.

Well if you want Malzahn then you get HUNH. He's done it everywhere he's been & isn't going to change.

I apologize, this is exclusive to HUNH... then the answer is Oregon. And who gives a shite if AU is losing right now, 90% of you are crying that Bama is winning.

You mean like LSU's offense last year?

Watch when auburn runs read option.
Bama stops on the edges and waits to see where the ball is going.
That's a big advantage for the offense.
When LSU keeps handing off, all bama does is send more guys.

I could give a shite about what Alabama does or any other team outside of LSU. 2 hours ago, on here, Malzahn was the Saban slayer. His offense gives Saban & Alabama problems! OMG!!! Now he's just another victim. The same thing was said about Sumlin 2 years ago.

And LSU still played bama better than the barn.

You posters think you complain about running the same plays all the time, Gus runs the same play 75% of the time.

You can't hand pick games. fricking silly.

With the talent and speed LSU has, why can't it have a little of both (or all 3 really). Just pick your moment... presumably after the opponents D has made adjustments.
A little HUNH (power run or pass, either), of course power run football, and then bring in 4 WR's and spread it out every now and then. You have good all around backs that can be check downs or block.
But... I will add this. To do above you absolutely have to have:
- good communication on the OL
- a QB with strong arm and quick decision making (sees the field well)
- probably good to have a QB with elusiveness and wheels

quote:Malzahn has admitted they run only about 5 plays normally, those 5 plays just happen to be out of about 6 different formations and 3 "looks" per formation (admittedly some aren't really that different- a shift inside vs outside).

C'mon man?! Can our offense use more creativity especially against Bama? Yes it can but what difference is it making right now? They are down 19 right now late in the 4th. You are being caught up in the moment right now. Realistically, what Auburn did today didn't create any different outcome then what happened to LSU.

Don't type that much.
These guys thinking 120th ranked passing game is a solid part of football. And if you try to have an offense, your defense will suck.

I would only for sure take 2 SEC coaches over Les. Malzahn is one of them.
