Last yr is a great example of miles piss poor coaching against bama.

Bama couldn't cover ONE of our WR's man for man more less both OBJ and JL.

Had we thrown the ball out the gun vast majority of the plays.

could have put 500 yrds on bama for sure.

Don't type that much. These guys thinking 120th ranked passing game is a solid part of football. And if you try to have an offense, your defense will suck.

They beat us 1 time with a very experienced team. MISS ST SENIORS THAT STARTEDTHIS YEAR:3 offensive linemen, best wr, 3 defensive linemen, their best lb (mckinney) and 3 starting dbs. All those players are seniors and will leave this year.

Good. Glad the competition is getting worse.

You need to rewatch that game one more time. We did throw plenty of the shotgun. The problem wasn't the play calling or the skill players, it was the fact our O-Line couldn't pick up their blitzes. That almost got Mett killed. That, the fumble by Copeland on the goal line & soft run defense up the middle is why LSU lost to Bama last year. Not because they didn't throw enough out of shotgun.

That was their first 3 legit opponents. You really want me to keep going?

Oregon opponents

PPG - 23.6
YPG - 435.7
Rushing YPG - 158.9
Passing YPG - 276.8

Not what I'd call dominant, or even good. So, once again, keep trying.

No its called attrition. Something LSU has to deal with on a massive scale.

No one is saying this at all. People ARE saying teams with HUNH offenses have defenses that suck. What is so hard to understand about that? We all want better offensive production & to score more points in big games. All fans want this. If you can't understand this, it's time to log out & try again tomorrow.

No one is saying this. The point is being made that it's hard to have a good defensive unit running HUNH offense. Every fan wants better offensive production at LSU. Anybody saying otherwise is lying. Better offensive production can be accomplished without having to go to a HUNH offense.

Exactly. if I could run any offense, I'd run the pro style ones like FSU, UGA, and Michigan State run. With decent QB play, those offenses are very effective. They are also not HUNH, and they rely on a good running game to complement the passing game.

IMO, Harris and Franks in 2016, give them that QB that can throw the ball 28-30 times a game, while we run it 40-42 times a game with guys like Fournette, Guice, Ducre, and possibly White (2016 RB)

What are you laughing at? In the last 3 years no program in all of cfb has had more attrition than LSU. In the last 3 years 21 juniors left lsu to go to the nfl. The next closest program is bama with 10 players
