Not true for many reasons. These kids will have memories of what they achieved. The fans will have memories. There will be videos of all the games and celebrations. Official shirts and hats can be purchased. The most common keeper of records is not the official ncaa website, but rather Wikipedia which lists vacated titles albeit with a simple asterisk. As outright champs even if vacated it means no one else from the sec can claim to be champs this year, which is sweet.
We got three great months of entertainment, coming right off the brutal end to the saints season, for which I’ll be eternally grateful. Wayde Sims parents got to be a part of this journey, and maybe have their grief lessened in some small way.

I am so not angry about any of this. This thread aside, I think Alleva is a shite AD, but that's par for the course at this point. If this Wade situation is headed for where it looks like it's headed for, I think it's kind of sad for LSU, but what can you do.
My interest in any form of athletics, collegiate or professional, doesn't register very highly on things that are important to me.

Literally all the NCAA can do other than words is prohibit you from hanging a banner in the PMAC.
Is that the only way you know about LSU’s past accomplishments? If so you really need to learn how to Internet better. Or remember better
Also, factor in that your other option wasn’t celebrating titles without the shadow of vacating, but rather watching shite teams struggle to win 7 games in the SEC.

I mean in comparison to winning a title and not having it vacated? Sure. In comparison to not even sniffing a title for almost a decade? Suck it most certainly does not.

I just legitimately don’t understand why having the NCAA claim in the ether that we actually didn’t win when everyone knows we did affects you so much. I mean I promise you the vast majority of people don’t realize that Fab Five, Derrick Rose Memphis, or shite even 13’ Louisville had to vacate their accomplishments. But people remember those teams were fricking good and fun and accomplished shite.

Sigh. This whole thing is bullshite. Everyone knows what a crooked game college basketball recruitment is, but the NCAA has refused to ever really try and touch it for fearing of harming their golden goose.
This has left college coaches in the untenable position of doing it the right way --- and getting fired. Or getting dirty like everyone else.
I feel badly for LSU about this. Y'all will get screwed because the audio came out, but a real investigation would probably get all top 20 teams' wins vacated for the past decade.

North Carolina players take classes no other students take. Duke and NC use the media to recruit players. Dick Vitale openly recruits for his favorites. Nothing ever happens to these programs. NCAA picks and chooses their winners. Now all we will hear in the tourney is how bad Will Wade is!

Everyone loves a TD source, but I’ve heard a few things from a fairly prominent basketball booster:
- Wade went to meet with Alleva amd King, thinking it was only internal...and the NCAA officials were on the phone and Wades lawyers told him to walk away.
- They brought in Javonte and family for ~3 hours to talk with NCAA people on phone and they said he was fine to play, but Alleva made the call anyway to sit him.
- Wade is trying to come back, but it doesn’t sound good.
- Program is about to have a full ncaa anal probe.
- We hear about Javontes future on Tuesday

Not what I heard. That meeting never occurred.
Also, things are about to get a whole lot worse for Wade. Whether that all comes out, we’ll see... but it’s about to get a lot worse. He’s coached his last game at LSU.

I heard this too from a very reliable source, exactly the same thing. The other things I did not hear.
