i work for the department of transportation and as of this morning, word around here is that contrflow would start no earlier than sunday....now, this can change as the storm changes, BUT if LSU was making a decision with input from dotd, that is what i have

This storm won't even be past Cuba tomorrow, and the cone will be 500 miles wide or more for the landing on the Gulf coast, and they already want to start contraflow then? That would be a stupid and foolish waste of resources.

This is getting bigger by the moment... I am nervous about the game. DHS is coming to BR for meetings with officials about the preparedness... I don't think football is gonna be a high priority.
