If we play the best QB Please explain how this makes sense because it doesn't. Reports all spring are that he looked he looked very good and he comes out and shows us.

Well. It's like this.

If JM is our best, then yes, he should start.

But, it's probably fair to say that it's not a great thing that JM is our best.

I barely saw much of the game, but he didn't exactly look great towards that last possession. Nice scramble though.

Hope you are right.

I think it's okay for LSU fans to feel more of the same ol same ol until we actually see something different. A Spring game isn't going to change that either way. You even said so much in another thread.

I still don't understand this line of thinking.

No one expects McMillan to start so if the possibility arises yalls thoughts are that we're doomed. Classic tiger rant.

People were hoping to do better than another high floor low ceiling game manager.

I don't think McMillan would frick things up too bad. A competent game manager who protects the ball. Doesn't make big plays and can't carry an offense from behind in the big games.

Looks like he's developed at LSU

Can this quarterback situation be compared to the three way race in 1999 between Craig Nall, Rohan Davey and Josh Booty?

Nall started the opener, but all three played and Nall did not remain the starter.

Good way to keep him around for next year.
The old shrimp boat captain may be smarter than you think.
Unless Brennen absolutely sh*ts the bed in the fall or breaks a leg, he will be the starter against Miami because Steve E wants to throw it 60% of the time.
But if the competition was over now, JM12 would have packed up and left leaving us with Brennan and Narcisse. Not good. Now we will have 3 scholly qbs coming back for fall.

Most of us aren't the horrible negative nancy that you are. You've never met a player or coach you didn't hate

Well. There are of course exceptions to the rule.

But, the reality is, we're talking about a kid who was a 2 star and, if LSU doesn't offer him, he's at Arkansas State, UNLV or Steven F. Austin right now(his other 3 actual offers).

So. Yeah. Maybe he'll surprise. But, to say that LSU(or any SEC school) should PLAN on that would be unreasonable.

No I just would like our qb to be able to win a game if he had to and a coach that was qualified to be the head coach. Not asking a lot. It’s okay keep those expectations low they will be met that way

Knee jerk reactions. Love LSU fans.

I’m not sure exactly what they were expecting from the spring game, but apparently it was some sort of Baylor 100 point air raid
