At this point I believe your QB race is as follows.

Brennan your starter, Nuss your backup, and Daniels with special packages, especially around the goal line to take advantage of his wheels.

Also good for Taylor to get the shout out at TE.

Taylor's size could make him dangerous. Now, he has a TE guru coaching him.

Nuss has looked the best. Most consistent anyway. Daniels throwing the ball concerns me. Hopefully they can work on him this summer. Myles with time can Rodgers sling it. But if our line has issues, we’ll struggle with him. He also needs to lose a little more weight.

Yep. In the wild west of NIL and transfers. it's nice to have a professional in charge.

At the beginning of this game it looked like the D was gonna walk away with it.

Good to see the O has a pulse.

From the first half I've been most impressed with Nussmeier's sharp release and hitting his receivers in stride.

From the little bit we’ve seen Nuss seems to have the most versatile skillset for what this staff is looking for, but has he developed the discipline to manage a game? He couldn’t do that last year.

Daniels has off the charts athleticism, but is raw and pretty undeveloped as a passer. If the staff can improve his release and footwork, he could be a huge weapon.

We all know Brennan. He has a strong arm and pretty quick release. He’s mature and was able to manage the offense when he played in 2020.

This is going to be a tough battle and a really tough decision for the coaches.

They were playing insanely conservative in the first quarter.

I think Brennan and Nuss have looked good.

They’ve all shown flashes and none of them have looked really good vs our first string defense.

I don’t disagree that Nuss looked great, not sure “best”, but really good. You heard what Kelly said, different personal in different series. Nuss might’ve had a majority of starters/played against second string d more.

These guys could look completely different after the summer.

Brennan could come in ripped. Daniels could come in throwing dimes. These guys are just getting started.

Right, I’m sure he’s more worried about optics than the team getting better
He told the D to back off last weekend too. He knows what he has on defense and needs to evaluate the offense.

Agreed. That’s what I have been saying this whole time. Hard to judge on one game and without knowing the actual practice performance.

This is one year where it would really be advantageous to have a cup cake scheduled for the first game.

As a viewer I'm appreiative of getting P5 v P5 games early in the season, but I just think it's best for the team to start with a lower level team - kind of the college version of a jamboree or pre-season game.

The players that stood out to me were Goodwin RB, Taylor TE and Nuss QB.

As a group the D-line looks stout.

The only thing I’ve learned so far is that I want to keep all of these guys. I hope somehow we take them all into the 2022 season.

I had very high hopes for him and thought he had all the tools to be a very good pass catching TE. It seemed like the last bunch just never gave him a chance.
