Softball isn’t in an awful place. We can’t get over the hump but it’s not like we’re a dumpster fire. I’ll take competitive seasons any day for a non revenue sport

Unfortunately will not happen. As long as she does not get an extension or raise, I can wait 2 years. Not worth a buyout at this point.

People on here fricks ya'll heads up. Kentucky went 1-24 in SEC play this year and their coach is coming back. There's only been two firings in the power 5 in softball so far this year. With money stretched thin there'll need to be disaster season(s) for a coaching change.

Torina would have to be caught in a scandal to get rid of her right now. Better chance of her retiring, but also unlikely.

I wish it was but per usual she does just enough to keep her job.
Now 2-10 in the last 5 super appearances. knocked out by ULL in home regional in 2023 and Southeastern last year in home regional.
Any other sport and she would have fired multiple times by now. But it’s softball so no one cares.

LSU made it to a Super Regional? Should a coach be terminated after that accomplishment? If coach was not canned after being ousted by Southeastern last season, IMO she will certainly be retained

No she and LSU got beat in the Super Regional by the best team in the country with 2 of the best pitchers in the sport. Bama is 56-7 probably going to win it all.
LSU started 0-5 in the SEC and Beth & staff turned it around to host a regional. This was probably her best coaching job in the last 5 years.
