Where do u think we would be without Coleman in the rotation most of the year?
pretty fricked IMO.
I think we'd be pretty fricked without Ott or Coleman as a closer this year given the way the rest of our bullpen has performed.
The question is not about what you or I think is best. It's about what we think PM would have done if there was no Ott. And, history has shown that when pitching is short, Mainieri likes to try to get more than one appearance per weekend out of his best pitcher.

Heard from a Coach in attendance yesterday he was 85-87 yesterday. This was on a gun, and from two different Coaches.

FWIW, a guy from Sam Houston (on another site) said that the game would be shown live tonight on Sam Houston's school website. Hope this helps - if true it will at least give a lot of us a chance to see ZVR pitch.

In the new BA mock draft, they mention he could be an option for the Angels at 22 but more likely he'll be around for their supplemental pick (read- aprox $1 million bonus) Now by their own admission these mocks are highly speculative, but if thats any accurate indication, 1st supplemental/2nd round... he'll be signed away
