Boise state has to win all their games and if they get snubbed (last year...ahem), they certainly cant blow their game to ANOTHER non AQ team. This year they got the preseason ranking they needed to be in the driver seat, but opted to take their out of conference games to less than .5 bowling green and tulsa, one-win miami ohio, and uc davis. they brought their ONE tough game to boisewith a rookie head coach's first game.

Wow. Chest thumping over a 1 point victory in a bowl game that could have so easily gone the other way 10 different times. Amazing.

And the blatent excuse making for the Oregon losing is . Those pricks were talking sheet all summer long about how they were going to "get revenge" and "put [us] in their place" and blah, blah, blah, blah.

And when they can't get it done, when the results on the field show what empty BS they spewed as they, in Pat Forde's words, "got dominated by BSU" (which they did), apologists with self promoting agendas such as yourself come to life.

And spare me the stupid Georgia game from freaking 2005. Hawkins had lost his team's confidence, it was the WORSE BSU team in the past 10 years and Z single-handedly gift wrapped 6 turn overs in the 1rst half.

Good hell, to ignore the impact of those pathetic turnovers by one player and still point to that as "what happens when BSU plays the SEC" is embarrassing.

BSU v LSU in September would be nationally hyped as big as any game in 2011. The Oregon / Boise game hype was incredible and ESPN still talks about that game (and will for the rest of this season and beyond).

You're not firing on all cylinders if you think that this game would not benefit LSU. Of course, unless by "would not benefit" you really are saying "are scared to expose the SEC as being repeatedly unable to defeat the best non-AQ's"

Hmmmm. I mean, that would suck to have to pretend that game didn't happen so you could continue to live in your elitist world. But listen, Oregon, Oklahoma and Alabama all made it through. Maybe not. Oregon is still trying to pretend it didn't happen.

But wouldn't it be worth the risk just to shut up the fans?

PS - I do respect the SEC and LSU, but I get tired of the typical SEC fan behavior.

Alabama has a friggin' losing record to a WAC team, um... LOUISIANA TECH. SEC fans are just too often elitists that probably try to live vicariously through their favorite team's perceived success. Obviously not all of them are that way, but a lot of message board tards are.

Go Broncos, and if you guys play in Tigger Stadium, I'll be there to support the WAC to victory!

Hey BSUFanatic, you should start working on the administration at your school to do what it takes to reach an agreement with LSU.

funny how you dismiss and make excuses for the one that went badly but you're sure willing to brag about the ones that went good for boise.

um, it's already been pointed out multiple times that such a game would be pretty much pointless for lsu. lsu already has a tough enough schedule as it is. why add another quality opponent who wants either a ridiculous amount of money or a return to trip to the hinterland where lsu has no recruiting presence. i'm sorry if you can't see how that is extremely stupid.

dang. i don't say this often but you're seriously not too bright. you're actually smack talking the sec. wow. A WAC TEAM

live in your elitist world
the sec has demonstrably shown that it is the best conference. why don't you go brag to big 10 fans. their conference is actually overrated.

the typical SEC fan behavior
you mean sec fans acting like the sec is the best conference when in actuality it really is? that typical behavior?

that is a really meaningful stat you produced there. alabama's football program must be really overrated. who knew? i'm glad we have wac fans around to remind us to be humble

sec fans will stop being confident when the sec isn't at the top of college football.

even if la tech won or made the game close, that wouldn't change the mountain of evidence that shows a huge gulf between the sec and the wac or that the sec is the best conference.

if you really want to know the various, demonstrable reasons why the sec is the best conference, let me know

Why should Lsu even play boise. The schedule is hard enough with West Va, Tenn, and Florida 3 weeks in a row. Having Bama, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Auburn, and hopefully a sec championship game should be enough good teams to play. a undefeated boise won't be a problem in the rankings if lsu has one loss. Boises weak schedule is not Lsu's problem.

I believe that Boise St. and LSU still need a game for 3-Sep-11.

I still think we should do what it takes to get this game scheduled for Baton Rouge!
