Screw arguing over punters. Why not compare QBs? Our QB against TCU played AWFULLY and still was within a touchdown of victory in San Diego. I still don't get why LSU's had so much trouble recruiting a QB recently. They seem to get so many other good athletes. Of course, laughable offensive play calling is exactly that, "offensive."

LOL should be the Cajuns' acronym instead of ULL. I think you guys post more on here than on your own board. Get over yourselves. Your schedule ranking was 121. You beat a crappy SDSU team essentially at home for a bowl. Yes, it was exciting and I think you have a great QB and some really good WRs (loved that one-handed catch down the sidelines), but jeeeez.
Someone said something earlier about wanting Tech and ULL to play, and we are, in case anyone forgot. 2014 in Lafayette and 2015 in Ruston.
Good luck next year, and I'll be curious to see if Hudspeth sticks around and builds on the momentum. That is, until the Dawgs lay the smackdown. :dude:

Technically, we "lost" Creer a while back. He was always injured, and then he decided that going to class just wasn't for him. Hunter Lee is a beast! It'll be awesome when Holley's back next year and we have those two on the field together! I'm wondering what's up with Duplessis... I thought he was supposed to be pretty good back when we landed him, but even after the injury plague, he's at THIRD on the depth chart? Next year's schedule is a friggin' joke, so Dykes should have it pretty easy. Maybe we can sweep that garbage schedule after we run over the horny toads tonight.

This is the truth for the legion of T-shirt "Wal-Mart" idiot fans. Tech fans feel the same way about LSU. No one's losing any sleep over it. If ULL and LaTech don't like LSU, that's our business. It's not like LSU will mess with us without the deck somehow stacked anyway. After we (Tech) pissed our previous game away in Baton Rouge, I don't anticipate meeting LSU on the gridiron any time soon. That was too close for their comfort.
Anywho, I still don't quite get why ULM-ULL isn't a real rivalry. You'd think even at least the name thing would get them going. Then again, ULM fans are really just LSU fans, so I guess it's hard for ULL to hate on them, since probably about 7 ULM folks show up when they play.
If ULL ever really becomes a stronger football program, the "Atchafalaya War" could be a pretty interesting rivalry. I've wanted a good one to stir up between Tech and LSU for years, but I realize LSU will never let it happen, so we just enjoy our rivalries with Southern Miss and Fresno State and move on with our lives.

Meh. To be "competitive" means we'd have to "compete," and we've only played thrice since World War II. Perhaps we'll play more in the future. I just wanna destroy TCU on the 21st right now, then we can talk about other teams. :thup:

CUSA's perfect, just dump some eastern team I don't care about or follow, haha. Simply getting to play Southern Miss yearly is enough to make me happy!

Even though Tech lost (shockingly) last night, I have to admit, it was actually a kinda entertaining game to watch. I don't watch much women's basketball either, but damn those women got after it last night! It didn't hurt that Nevada had some hotties on their team either, but the score even looked like a men's score. It sucked to lose to the damn Wolfpack, but cheers to them for the upset.

Hahaha, well it doesn't surprise me. ULM's losing support to LaTech in Monroe like crazy anyway, so I don't think they care much about the name issue, or at least not enough to go and re-edit whatever Parrott writes.

I haven't looked at McNeese at all yet... We're solid offensively and defensively, but we've still got pitching problems, so we're relying on young guys. Therefore, WHO knows what'll happen, but I see Tech being very inconsistent this year because of that.

We got raped by the AD and/or university president... This is the gayest schedule we've had in a long time, especially since I can't make the Houston game, meaning the only *decent* home game I'll see is against Hawaii. I see a lot of improvement and for OOC, we should obviously kill UCA, USM is a toss-up, Houston makes me cry thinking of Keenum burning our secondary (epic loss at home), we have a shot perhaps with Ole Miss, and Miss State will get revenge on us. I say 2-3 or 3-2 before WAC play.
Bruce Van de Velde, I had better not see another bullshite schedule like this in Ruston again... Can't wait to face the dregs of the WAC and an FCS team in person... Gotta travel to the Mississippi Trifecta to see Tech play real football teams this year apparently. BRING IT ON, SOUTHERN MISS!!! (I can't wait for this game!!!)
