He’s had some nice college offenses and has produced 3 pro bowl QBs in the NFL.

519.1 ypg ASU
426.4 ypg ASU
435.4 ypg ASU
422.7 ypg Boise St.
496.2 ypg Boise St.
449.1 ypg Oregon
420.8 ypg Oregon

Some of his offenses at the college level and in his last 10 seasons in college he’s produced six 3,000 passing yard seasons and two 4,000 yard passing seasons from the QB position. LSU averaged 389 ypg under Ensminger this season, has 3 alltime 3,000 yard and zero 4,000 yard passing seasons.

Sane, rational people would have expected Coach Canada to get a second year. Most programs he probably would have.

But we don't seem to have sane, rational people running the program.

Take Koetters QBs at ASU and compare them to Ensmingers it’s not even close. Plus he’s coached Pro-Bowl QBs in the NFL but yea we are good whitch what we’ve got lol

We’ve already tried the NFL re-tread route with Cameron. I’m not saying Koetter would be the worst thing ever, but why not go younger and more innovative if a move is made? This guy is neither of those things.

their offense has the ball a ton in garbage time. Koetter has never been an inspiring play caller. Shoot higher

The better options are almost all gone for next year, which means LSU has no higher options to shoot for.

If there were an open position, there are plenty better options out there.

Not a guy that just got fired because he couldnt develop Jameis Winston. So called "great" offensive NFL mind. bwahahaha

I hear what you’re saying but Cameron in 3 seasons did produce 2 of our better offenses in the last 10 years and one that was a historic offebse in 2013 so he wasn’t as bad as ppl say. He also had Miles cutting his playsheet down to nearly nothing. And Koetter is pretty innovative, those RPOs everyone seems to use and love now a days were first run by Koetter at Arizona State. Not saying he invented it cause I do t know that but he’s the first guy I ever saw use it as a pillar of his offense over 10 years ago.

For better or worse, we may as well get ready for another year of Ensminger. I don’t know... if we can find a couple OTs there will be zero excuses. Experience all over except RB and they’ll have elite talent there.
